Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz declared that President Obama’s Iranian nuclear deal is “catastrophic” and labeled Planned Parenthood a “criminal enterprise” during an exclusive interview with NBC News’ Hallie Jackson on Monday.
“The Iranian nuclear deal is catastrophic — the single greatest national security threat facing America,” Cruz said. “To allow a country led by a theocratic zealot who chants ‘death to America’ to have a weapon that could in the flash of an eye murder millions of Americans. We have to stop this deal.” He also called New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer “courageous” for recently coming out against the deal.
The Texas senator, who holds particular appeal among hard-line conservatives and tea party members, reiterated his views on some of the most hot-button topics of the 2016 presidential race while on a bus tour through Tennessee. His comments came less than a week after the Republican presidential debates showcased Cruz and fellow rivals jostling for attention against the inflammatory remarks by current GOP front-runner Donald Trump.
“The question of, should we be funding Planned Parenthood? The answer is of course not,” Cruz added on Monday. “It ought to be a no-brainer that we shouldn’t be sending $500 million of taxpayer money — of your and my money — to be funding a criminal enterprise.”

Even far left kook Chuck Schumer opposes the Iran deal because he knows how bad it is.
I just contacted my two Senators urging them to join Senator Schumer in opposing the lock step Democrat approval of this disastrous Treaty hiding out as an agreement.....
Ok Ok.....they are Sen. Babs Boxer, and Sen. Didi Feinstein, but look its SCHUMER opposing the deal and both of my Senators are Jewish! Small hope better than none!
According to the media there is no such thing as a left wing extremist and right wing extreme starts somewhere in the middle!
Well, the Democrat party is pretty much unanimous that both are absolutely terrific.
The only crack in the façade is Schumer, who I think is a total phony. And his only purported problem is with the Iran deal, as far as dealing dead child organs, his position seems to be "I don't see a problem, and where's my campaign contribution."
Boxer is Jewish, but Feinstein its not so clear.
She went to Sacret Hart academy, I think she married a Jew named Feinstein . She isn’t a big Israel supporter.
Cruz voted for the first part of this amended negotiating arm of this power!
He should have listened to his staff!
The vote is in. The senators & representatives who need to vote no will look good to their constituents, but Obama already has the votes to pass the Iran deal. Whether Cruz was naive, voted for the first part or not.
This presidential election isn’t about party. So it doesn’t matter that Trump is not the perfect Conservative.
It’s about allegiance to the United States of America.
It’s Americans versus American haters/Globalists.
Cruz is a good man and he is addressing the real issues we are facing. GOOD FOR HIM!!!

Maybe, but while he says "Obama’s Iranian nuclear deal is “catastrophic”" he still has to explain why he voted in favor of the Corker/Graham bill that's already made the deal law.. Either Cruz is stupid and didn't know what he's doing, or he's a two-faced liar and is pulling a fast one, or something else that he's not saying. He really needs to explain this.
I would like to hear him address why he voted for that. I agree. I still like Cruz, but I do not understand that vote. Good point.
That's my position too and there's got to be more to this. What's interesting is thst Rush recently had Cruz on and Rush never mentioned it. Maybe Rush was clueless or he was doing a cover-up. imho Rush needs to explain that.
I knew that, and stand corrected, although Diane, through her marriage, should have gained some insight into the plight of the Israeli people.
When ISIS shows up, the name “Feinstein” will surely tag her for the top of their list of action items! Gun CCW permit not withstanding! (Right for me, but not for thee!)
