Taking money away from the baby killers at Planned Parenthood means that people like me would never be able to find a doctor to give us a prescription for birth control pills ... and that means that we will get pregnant a lot more ... and that means we will have to murder many more babies ... somewhere ... and you conservatives surely don't want to be responsible for that!
Doesn’t BOcare cover birth control?
Isn’t everyone mandated to have BOcare?
Why then do we need PP?
Yeah. “Give me free birth control or the kid gets it!” Sounds like a murder threat to me.
This bitch is insane.
... and taking away sugary drinks and bacon would result in more "unplanned" weight gain and therefore more heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, and therefore death.
I love these broad and sweeping "logical statements" from intellectual midgets... I mean "little people".
It would not mean more unplanned pregnancies. It would result in fewer pregnancies as now (for those who would otherwise have an abortion) there is a penalty to casual sex. It would return importance and responsibility to the act of sex.
It’s all about game theory. Change the rules and the players adjust to win. In Tallahassee they studied a few intersections and determined that x% of drivers were running red lights. Therefore, if they installed cameras they’d make y amount of money. They spent a lot of money installing cameras but made very little money. The drivers adjusted instantly to the new rules and stopped running red lights. They have decided to remove the cameras this month, as they are losing money.
In the 1960’s there were fewer black divorces and blacks had a stronger family environment than whites. But the government started paying unwed black women for each baby. If they got married then the payments stopped. We see the result of this game today with something like 55% of black children born out of wedlock. It’s all game theory.
“Overall numbers aren’t available, but Planned Parenthood told me...”
So a baby-murdering, slice & dice body-part selling organization “told” the reporter something, and she took it at face value.
That’s some darn good reporting there, honey.
OR...you could demand the numbers be made publicly available and you wouldn’t have to worry about conscience-inclined individuals making surreptitious videos in an effort to expose the ungodly, inhumane dishonesty of un-Planned Parenthood.
Huh?
So let me get this straight, some of our federal income taxes go to Planned Parenthood to pay for pre-birth human body parts? If so, sounds to me like a reason for we Christians to cheat on the federal income tax. Christians in some foreign countries have been imprisoned for lesser "crimes" that that.
Birth control is available at any CVS that hasn’t been burned down yet, at Walgreen’s and all other drug stores. Plus refill prescriptions can be mailed right to your door. Some forms of birth control don’t even require a prescription.
There’s just no logic to this. How can getting rid of a human butcher shop increase abortions?
I really don’t see why the left is worried anyway, the RINO’s will cave in. As usual they will put up a good show, then let the left have their way. And don’t forget them giving us the middle finger.
:: Defunding Planned Parenthood would inevitably result in more unplanned pregnancies ::
So, is it the funding that is doing the impregnating our the workers of PP impregnating so many women?
According to the Government Accountability Office, the roughly 1,200 community health centers in the U.S. serve over 21 million people per year. Planned Parenthood, by contrast, serves 2.7 million people.
These are comprehensive health care centers, something that Planned Parenthood is not, said Mallory Quigley, a spokeswoman for Susan B. Anthony List.
Having access to hundreds of millions more in government contracts with the absence of Planned Parenthood on the contractor list will have other centers looking to fill the gap. The demand to provide subsidies for Planned Parenthood is another form of corporate welfare, only for abortionists in order to render their other operations more economically viable.
No corporation has an entitlement to federal subsidies. This particular organizations business practices make it unfit for taxpayer support. Let them survive on their own resources, and focus public support to those who truly focus on health rather than the destruction of human life.
The issue here isn’t that defunding PP would decrease abortions.
What is at issue is the sale of body parts from aborted fetus’ is ILLEGAL !!
Secondly, if PP wants to perform abortions, fine. Let them generate the money to do that from their donors, not down the barrel of a gun from the taxpayers.
Nice try by this guy, but we all know that Obama mandated full coverage of birth control as part of Obamacare.
We don’t need Planned Parenthood or any other organization for this.
The fix is in, its time to collect on the “Savings”!
Birth control is wide spread, easily accessed, and readily available. Yet this country still terminates 3,000 pregnancies every day. Contraception does not prevent abortion. this author is a moron
Really?
Isn't obamacare supposed to force "free" birth control on everybody, even the Little Sisters of the Poor?
I don’t think the writer likes Christian beliefs. But he says if PP is eliminated, many other abortuaries will take its place.
OK, he doesn’t like Christians, so let’s consult a Samurai authority on what to do when confronted with overwhelming numbers of enemies. Strike down the first one and work your way through the rest of them. (References to bloodshed and violence omitted as not applicable here.)
Do you believe that you have the right to choose your method of birth control with advice from your doctor? ... If you answered YES to [this] question, you are pro-choice. -National Abortion Rights Action League.[3][emphasis; mine]
The First Step.
Why should a Pro-Life Activist's Encyclopedia include information on contraception?
Because contraception, by its very definition, seeks to prevent life. Although its morality is rarely ever discussed any more, even among Christians, it remains one of the major life issues of our time perhaps even more preeminent than abortion.
The use of artificial contraception has been called "copulation without population" and "the formula by which one plus one equals zero."
Euthanasia has never been possible without the widespread acceptance of abortion, and abortion has never been possible without a public acceptance of artificial contraception.
Until 1930, every mainline Protestant church opposed both contraception and abortion. After the Anglicans accepted contraception in their Resolution 15, resistance to all kinds of anti-life practices crumpled quickly, to include abortion, divorce, euthanasia, and pornography.
Before any of the churches accepted abortion, they accepted artificial contraception. Today, the only churches that actively oppose abortion are those that have maintained the Christian tradition against birth control.
Therefore, it can be said that the advent of contraception was the very first step down the bioethical 'slippery slope' for this nation and for the world.
Definitions...
Contraception means the prevention of the union of the sperm and egg, or the prevention of ovulation. In other words, it prevents, by some physical mechanism, the creation of a new individual.
On the other hand, as its name implies, birth control prevents the birth of an already-conceived individual, whether that individual is only hours past conception or only hours before birth.
Therefore, by definition, abortion is the only true birth control, and all birth control is truly abortion!
So the use of condoms and other barrier methods would be classified as conception control, or contraception. The new birth control pills, Depo-Provera, NORPLANT, the abortion pills, and all intra-uterine devices (IUDs) would be classified as abortifacient birth control methods.
