Texas authorities released additional footage from Sandra Bland's three days in jail, saying they wanted to dispel rumours that she was dead before arriving.
Waller County Judge Trey Duhon said Tuesday that such conspiracy theories - including one that Bland's mug shot was taken after her death - have prompted death threats against county officials.

Or paid her bond! The family wants to blame the police, but her family didn’t care enough to help her. Maybe they were trying to teach her a lesson. I wouldn’t award the family anything. Sandra Bland should have stepped out of the car when asked. The policeman could have suspected she was using drugs and had a right to ask her to step out.

Evidently, marijuana stays in your system quite a long time. I wonder if she was given a drug test when she was first arrested.

She has responsibility in her life.
People need to stop making excuses. Her family was tired of bailing her out, evidently. She had huge unpaid fines up Chicago Way.
Things end up like this where somebody grows old and never takes any personal responsibility.

No, that’s not true. Toxicology came back that there was THC in her system, but it is impossible to determine if those levels were from recent use, or if they simply mean that she was a regular user.
The article that implied she must have snuck some into prison was a bit of sensationalism.
Blacks simply refuse to acknowledge the reality of Black crime rates - and will attack anyone who mentions it.
