A gay couple from the United States said on Wednesday their lives were being "destroyed" after a Thai surrogate mother refused to sign papers allowing them to take their baby out of Thailand. The controversy is the latest over surrogacy in Thailand after several cases last year including accusations that an Australian couple abandoned their Down Syndrome baby with his birth mother, taking only his healthy twin sister back to Australia. In the latest case, Gordon Allan Lake and his Spanish husband, Manuel Valero, say Thai surrogate Patidta Kusolsang, who is not the baby's biological mother, decided she wanted to keep their baby, Carmen, as the couple was preparing to leave Thailand.

This actually happened to couple I know in the US. They arrived at the hospital to receive the baby and the mother decided to keep it. Nothing you can do.

She is the mother, even if she’s not biologically related to her child. They are perverts, even if some government pretends that their pact is a marriage. I’m not sure what their complaint is; the Thai woman’s child deserves the best possible home.
There’s nothing gay about being homosexual.
It sounds like the story line here is that this woman is being “homophobic” and the media are pushing the gay angle.
Off topic, but, you wonder how this emphasis on homosexuality plays in the rest of the world. Obama has made gay rights a big part of our foreign policy initiatives. Hillary has talked a lot about this too.
But much of the world is not liberal towards homosexuality in the manner that we are.

When homosexuals adopt children, they are really grooming them for sex. The children are nothing but sex toys to do with as they wish.

nothing a normal couple can do UNLESS the surrogate has no genetic relationship to the mother and father.
Here you have one genetic mother/father but not both.
Surrogate mothers are just a womb for rent.
It can happen to moral or immoral couples, but being moral makes it easier to deal with the fallout if it does. You can leave it to the Lord rather than flying into a rage.

Sucks to be them. Maybe they should have chosen a different species instead of a same sex. They could go to the ASPCA and adopt.
The rest of the world is wising up. More and more nations are realizing that such adoptions and surrogacy are not happening for the benefit of the children, but for ulterior motives by the western “parents”. And some of these ulterior motives are downright evil.
