Wasn’t there a story back during the 08 campaign that McCain released some live ordinance onto the deck of his carrier by pulling the wrong lever before takeoff? I never have though of McCain as a war “hero” Veteran yes, ex-POW yes, Hero, Maybe not.

Years ago, I read a biography about Col. Oliver North who, IIRC, was in the same class at Annapolis as John McCain.
The book was not favorable to McCain at all, and he was considered a real loser by his peers.

I have read that the propaganda films and transcripts of his debriefing notes are available at the prntagon but only if McCain releases them.
Senator, you can easily dispell the “Song Bird “ label by releaseing your records and those videos from the pentagon archieves that you blocked before.
