FNC's "dumb" rules may change after they see who's on top and who is not.

Even with 10 participants, they will be lucky to get 4-6 minutes of answer time in a 90-minute debate.

Give each a 2 minute opening and closing statement, and you already have eaten up 40 minutes.

Allow for mods to ask their editorizing questions could add up to 20 secords or more per question.

Give candidate(s) 2 minutes to respond.

Add on time for a candidate named in another candidate’s answer to repond — 1 minute.

Typically, in the past, the mods have asked more questions of the perceived frontrunners.

Somehow trump will be excluded because he would embarrass them all

I'm sure the moderator will avoid all questions that could give Trump an edge...Trump will have to be pretty sharp to weave his way back to the important issues as the moderator fields insignificant questions to him...

“I hate to say it, but Limpy Graham is right...”

He absolutely is.

This plan is designed to reward wealthy or establishment candidates and prevent a grassroots campaign from being able to form. They have to scrap it and start over.

Why would someone with no chance run for president? $800,000. Candidates for federal office can draw a salary from campaign funds equal to the salary of the office they are seeking.

That’s why Sharpton and the rest of the clown squad runs. That 800 thousand dollar payday if you run for 1 year and one day.

This whole election cycle, actually the last couple remind me of an old Steppenwolf song

“The people grew fat and got lazy now their vote is a meaningless joke”

This South Carolinian would’t vote for that maroon if he gave me tickets to the Clemson v. Notre Dame game.

It would be tough to imagine that a field of ten would not include Cruz, Walker, Trump, etc. To this day I think the strongest farm team the GOP had was in 1980, but those days are gone. It will be interesting to see if Perry makes it among the ten.

RCP latest average of four polls would have Perry included.

I have not heard if the GOP will definitely use the RCP lists, but it should be close.

“Let’s be honest....other than 10,000 votes out of South Carolina....no one else would vote for the guy. If you gave me a choice of Hillary or Graham....I’d actually vote for Hillary.”

I don’t like Lindsay, but he is not a corrupt, criminal sociopath like Hillary. Lindsay would continue to let the country slip left and Hillary would take us over the cliff to a form of Marxist dictatorship.

I'm for the 'Wheel of Fortune' method. Moderator asks the question FIRST then Meghan Kelly spins the wheel maybe 5 times per question.

In a Fox News interview on Friday, Graham blasted the right-leaning network's "dumb" rules, which will limit the participants to 10 candidates polling the best in an average of the five most recent national polls.

"I think that this is a dumb way to weed out the field," Graham declared.

I guess for the sheer entertainment value alone, Lindsay ought to be in the debate.

Maybe a drinking game? A shot or beer chugged for every country Linda mentions we need to invade?

The field does get weeded out. They are called primaries.

A simpering fag from SC
Thought that Fox should put him on TV
Though he whimpered and cried
(With McCain by his side)
The event will still be Goober-free

The whole idea of making the primary Jeb vs Trump and leaving out real conservatives is what should outrage people

The whole problem with that scenario is that people would be evaluated based on their ability to give a two-minute speech rather than their ability to govern.

It might be controversial to say this but television has done a great disservice to the democratic process, in my opinion.

If Lindseed was in the top ten meaning a candidate who anybody gave a hoot about he would be staying quiet.
