Acres of ancient trees are disappearing and illegal marijuana farms are popping up in their place. Streams and rivers are being sucked dry, diverted sometimes miles away through plastic pipes into tanks. Several species of fish, along with a rare breed of wild rodent, are on the verge of extinction.

The smokers aren’t improving the area, either.

All these tree huggers are destroying everything. I know a tree hugger who moved to Cal. to take part in this marijuana boom.

Ironically, all the fake environmental data is fabricated by people smoking pot...

Where’s the outrage about the environmental impact of marijuana?

Up in smoke.

And that’s the huge irony here. Most all pot smokers are liberal Democrats earth worshipper types. The guys that spike trees from evil loggers and who would do most anything to deprive evil capitalist farmers the right to water and to farm the land.

Yeah, these same people who believe it is their divine right to steal from others for the higher, noble goal of getting stoned.

See the SCOTUS verdict on _Raich_ for a very interesting juxtaposition. It’s like the _Kelo_ case, where the government won and the plaintiff suffered, only to have the wrenchingly awful outcome go nowhere - in Kelo the homes were destroyed but the parking lot never built, in Raich the homegrown pot plants were violently seized but now (as the lead article laments) pot is widely grown and the feds do nothing.

I wonder what it is about pot growing that causes all this destruction, yet all other agriculture seemingly does not.

Apparently the pot growers are mowing down the trees with chains saws but no one can find their secret farms.

I would have never guessed that corporations, evil right-wing Tea Party people and potheads would all be accused of causing environmental degradation. I’m laughing my head over this one. I can imagine a future Sierra Club ad out in California with a message line, “Every time you take a time another tree is chopped down...” Oh man this has got to be a joke. Waiting for the first UC scientist to come up with the study that shows the proliferation of pot farms in the state are contributing to global warming. Won’t that be a hoot? The best part is this is a fight between idiot lefties.

Way too subtle for this crowd.

As a young fella I used to love the stuff . Now, I have absolutely no use for it whatsoever . It contributes substantially to the dumbing down of America ,and to the inspiration of insane Liberal voting habits. An mj stoned populous is a national security threat . Same as if everyone were drunks . America needs to get a grip and sober up in all ways . We live in far too dangerous & serious times to just go through life loaded .
