U.S. president meets with Pentagon officials following weekend airstrikes in eastern Syria
The complex threat of the ISIS extremist group will not be ultimately defeated by guns but through ideology, Barack Obama says.
The U.S. president made the remarks Monday on the military campaign against the Islamic State group after being briefed by Pentagon officials earlier in the day.
He called for co-operation among countries in a fight he said spills over borders. Obama will look to partner with Muslim communities that he said are often the target of ISIS attacks.
"The battle for hearts and minds is going to be a generational struggle," he said.

ISIS could've and should've been disintegrated last year when they were in a column marching across the desert. Instead, Obama was referring to them as the "JV" and still providing arms to the bad guys.

Moreover, everyday Americans get censored on Facebook and Twitter if you post too many anti-Obama posts by Facebook and by Twitter. However, at the very same time ISIS is allowed to post on Social Media? So Facebook and Twitter is allowing the ISIS version of Tokyo Rose and to recruit.
How is that not promoting terrorism?

However, has not Obama himself told us on multiple occasions that , even after several years of allowing ISIS to commit atrocities unchallenged and unchecked, he - President Obama has no ideas or strategy to counter or deal with ISIS.
Since he has no ideas how to deal with ISIS, perhaps he should try guns as an interim solution until he comes up with some ideas because he two years down the read he still has no ideas or strategy.
