Admission of Hillary Clinton’s classified emails opens door for feds to seize her servers
Washington Times ^ | July 2, 2015

The State Department on Wednesday conceded that two dozen of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s emails did contain classified information, a fact that could trigger a U.S. policy that authorizes the government to take control of her private server and sanitize the contents.

A former senior intelligence official told The Washington Times the policy also requires the government to check other Internet paths her secret information could have taken.

The intelligence source said Mrs. Clinton’s communication, whether telephone or emails, would have been targeted by a number of foreign agencies. This source said it is likely her private server was breached.

Sean Hannity is convinced that the Chinese and Russians already have this classified info from her server. Will they hold it for black mail if she becomes POTUS, or wait and release them in the middle of the 2016 Election to derail her candidacy for President? What say you?

Her servers? The ones with the old disks trashed and swapped out?

Any such activity will be futile except for publicity points.

Whether it is after being classified or having been classified, the fact that the data have been classified is warrant enough to seize the hardware. There isn’t any doubt about this. Not turning over the items in question is punishable in my opinion. She had to have signed an agreement/acknowledgement of how she has to treat information deemed classified in any capacity and directions about what actions are needed.

Servers?

The Atlantic Ocean is a tad big to do a complete search...

How about indicting all the to, from, and CCs on those emails for mishandling classified material.

McConnell and Boehner have probably already told the FBI to back off.

By the time they get to it, they’ll find a couple of old TRS-80s waiting there.

Will they hold it for long term use and potential future blackmail of a sitting US President, or use in the short term to eliminate a Presidential candidate they potentially could blackmail in the Oval Office? Is that what you're asking? Gee, that is a tough one.

Damn, I wish this crap would stop. King Obama will not allow any confiscation of Hillary’s server. We live in a controlled dictatorship and even if they find something that incriminated Hillary it will go nowhere. Most Americans just don’t get it. You are living in a dictatorship controlled by the communists. Freedom in America is gone and we are slaves of the Government. We are still allowed free speech, with limitations, because they know that it has no enforcement. Just talk going nowhere and makes us feel good.

At this point it is not so clear that her emails would have been any more secure on a government server.

It’s not going to come through her scrubbed and shredded server. It’ll come through the contact she’s had with others. Seize her phone records, find out who she makes the most phone contact with, and go after their servers.

That’s where you’ll nail her.

Or...if I’m Trump...place a $10,000 bounty on any email that comes from her personal email address during her tenure as SOS.

So so true. I don't want to waist anymore time on some hopefulness of this lost nation. It is what it is. As Ron Paul once said that building a fence to keep people out may backfire as we may be trying to get out of here.

People still keep talking about inspecting Hillary’s server. What do they not understand about “destroyed” or “wiped clean”? Does anyone really think Hillary went into her basement and tried to do it herself? If so, I have some beautiful Texas land suitable for a ski lodge to sell you.

I have no doubt that a very good IT professional was hired by the Clinton Foundation to do the dirty illegal deed—and then the hard drive was broken into small pieces and the pieces melted down into scrap.

These Clintons aren’t dumb criminals. They have amassed a fortune in ten years that should amaze anyone when you consider that they had nothing to sell but BS speeches—and a lot of influence where they could put their thumb on the scales of government programs to benefit their patrons.

Once again, no one is talking about the backups. Get whoever it was who administered the server in front of a congressional committee and start asking some really pointed questions about exactly how it was administered, and what was done with the backups.

These Clintons aren’t dumb criminals.

That's mostly true, although part of the reason they've gotten away with things is that they've taken advantage of their public position to the max.

While we're debating the smartness or dumbness of public servants who have become rich: What's your opinion on Al Gore? Dumb? Lucky? Smart enough to be advised on getting rich?
