Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday ended months of speculation by signing off on contentious legislation -- Senate Bill 277 -- that requires almost all California schoolchildren to by fully vaccinated in order to attend public or private school, regardless of their parents' personal or religious beliefs.

Well, I’m not against vaccines. But the Democrats seem to have a fetish for laws making you do everything. And this way they can convict you of almost anything, fine you or imprison you. Are the democrats competing with North Korea?
And Federal law gives the vaccine manufacturer 100% immunity from lawsuits should your child suffer adverse effects from the vaccine.
We give more careful legal protections to criminals awaiting lethal injection on death row.

I believe they are free to homeschool if the’d prefer to not vaccinate their children.
If you throw a football or a frisbee on any public beach in LA County the fine is over $100.

The aggressive US Childhood vaccine schedule (49 vaccine doses by age 6) and multiple vaccine cocktail shots, is what’s injured many children.
The latest MMR+ shot contains SIX vaccines which are given to US infants. Other advanced countries take a much more conservative approach with their childhood vaccine schedule.
BTW: for those who scoff at individuals concerned about vaccine safety, the US Vaccine Injury fund has paid out over $1 Billion dollars to victims disabled and killed by vaccines.
We are not provided informed consent with sufficient information on vaccine side-effects, and the pharma-medical community being shielded from responsibility is not helping to ensure the most effective safe conservative approach for vaccination, prevails.

IMO the real purpose is to try to shield children growing up here from the multitudinous diseases of ILLEGAL aliens welcomed into California by the millions and considered a protected class. The ruling class don’t like them diseases they bring but won’t say it.
Schools in at least one state this past fall were to “immediately enroll” the (illegal immigrant) students and waive the health and immunization requirements of other students. Citizens were furious because their kids had to provide them & illegals did not ..... just wondering if this CA law truly means ALL children, including the illegals?
That is not true - the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act does place restrictions on lawsuits, but there is still as a path, and there still often are lawsuits.

With vaccines, like anything else, some prudent risk/benefit analysis needs to be done.
All vaccines carry some risk. But for diseases proven to have high mortality rates, the benefit outweighs the risk.
This cannot be the case for 49 diseases. Some, like mumps, are never fatal. For some others the shot is more dangerous than the disease.
No need at all to have 49 mandatory vaccines. The Gardisil incident in Texas opened my eyes to this. Clearly Rick Perry took a payoff to make it mandatory in Texas so that Pfizer could recoup their R&D costs and make it profitable. If you follow the money you will find that to be the case with most vaccines on the mandatory list, I’m sure.
