Quick succession of terrorist attacks has officials worried

The attack Friday at a Tunisian beach resort killed at least 18 Britons, but officials said Monday the actual number was likely to be 30. That would make it by far the deadliest terrorist attack on Britons since the London transport bombings 10 years ago. Yet it was just one of three terrorist attacks on three continents that followed one another in frightening succession last week. While it is not yet known whether the attacks were linked, they have left officials in numerous countries concerned about how to keep their citizens safe.

Not long after that, a bomb ripped through Al-Sadiq mosque in Kuwait's capital during Friday prayers -- a time when mosques are packed with worshippers. At least 27 people were killed. On Friday morning, European time, the head of the decapitated manager of a transportation company was found hanging from a fence near Lyon, in southern France, along with two banners said to bear Islamic writing.

For a minute, I thought they were referring to the Supreme Court.

If only they had jobs, they’d never kill people... /end the wisdom of the US state department.

If this happened in the US, it would be covered 24 / 7 around the world. But it was Tunisia, and well, you expect different things to happen there. Had a US church been bombed, again, worldwide cover to cover coverage, but it was just a Kuwati mosque, you kind of expect that kind of thing...

Both should have received far more coverage than they did, both are highly significant, and all of these terrorist events deserve to be fought on every level, every time, no matter where they take place.

“How to keep their citizens safe.”

Let’s see, how about (a) warning them to avoid foreign countries with muslims and (b) to kick all the muslims out of their own countries?

Naw, too insensitive. Just try to be a good little dhimmi instead.

The best way for us to stop attacks is to destroy those who would attack us...properly handled, that could be done, completely, in about 6 months or less....

Bombings happened the same day as the homosexual marriage decision from the supreme Court. So they were overshadowed because our media wanted to give saturation coveesge to homosexual marriage.

So after decades of spying and hundreds of billions spent they still know nothing? Maybe we don’t need all these spies.

What? It doesn't take us six months to get our nukes over there. The boats are probably already in place.

For terrorists with firearms concealed carry is a great equalizer.

IS doesn’t need to attack certain parts of the US. They could easily get elected as Democrats and achieve their goals without bombs.
