Sorry, the headline IS accurate. Jeb twisted himself into a pretzel trying to ingratiate himself with every faction of the pro/anti gun control constituencies....and such twists satisfy no one.....particularly, 2nd amendment supporters.
Why can't he come right out and say with conviction and without hedging that he supports the right of the people to keep and bear arms?

Jeb Bush does not want to be President. He is in the mainstream of Republican aspirants. He covets the honor of the Republican Nomination and will fight hard and spend as much money as he can for that but he does not want to be President.

Hey Jeb - have you ever considered the possibility that corrupt narcissistic politicians might find their ‘opponents’ potentially violent? And it might have more to do with the politicians sense of entitlement than any real 'danger'.

He has also praised gun-grabber Michael Bloomberg for "putting his money where his mouth is on gun control".
