Netanyahu warns of attack against Iran; US says deal deadline may 'slip'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday that Israel is still considering an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, even if Tehran and world powers sign a historic deal to curtail Iran's nuclear program next week.

"Whatever happens, Israel will always defend itself, and the Air Force plays a major role in this," Haaretz daily quoted Netanyahu as saying at a pilots' course graduation ceremony.

Netanyahu again expressed concern over the agreement and the concessions the world is prepared to do in order for Iran to sign the deal.

Far too late to bomb research and manufacturing facilities. Israel might target facilities that become fully operational. Nuke on a container ship in the Port of Haifa or an American harbor seems more likely.

It’s a consequence of disproportionate response to anything Israel does to defend itself or neutralize threats to itself; in the case of the mullah nutjobs, they can’t wait forever. Of course, there’s a particle of risk to any operation against Iran, not least because Zero and his fascist regime has been undermining Israel for over six years.
