Still, SCOPE stands behind its decision, which they said was in the best interest of the children and the result of poor judgement on Kearns part.
But even a parent of one of the misbehaving children, Aya Blarney, felt SCOPE mistreated Kearns and jumped the gun without conducting a thorough investigation.

“Come on people. Guess “shoot for the moon” is out now?”
You could probably add in “give it your best shot”.
What this woman did was totally appropriate.

Along with bang, pow, hand drawings of a gun, fingers pointed like a gun, and pop tarts chewed to a gun shape.
Apparently, you’re not allowed to question anything about the official dot-gov narrative on FR, either...
Allowed? No one is stopping you from saying whatever you want. But start running around saying that parents were faking the deaths of their six-year-old children, and you're going to get called out for that.
(still not "stalking" you through the threads, by the way. Once again, I was just browsing threads and your idiocy jumped out)
Some here are old enough to remember the exclamation used in the south, “Shoot.” It had several meanings such as “go ahead and tell us” or as a replacement for “damn” when disgusted about something, etc. Haven’t heard it lately and wonder why not........Perhaps it’s another transgression in the allowable politically correct speech.
I'm not that old, and not from the south, but yeah, I remember the exclamation as well. And now that you mention it, I can't say I've heard it in a while either. Just another example of political correctness making language (and everything else) more boring, I suppose.
Yes, you’re stalking.
I encourage everyone to read the article. It's about a retired cop who was participating in a "lockdown drill" with students.
A handful of students weren't taking it seriously, and another student admonished them: Hey guys, were doing this drill because of Sandy Hook,
When the woman took the students aside to talk to them, one asked what "Sandy Hook" was. She told them about it, and showed some pictures from the news reporting (not gory photos).
There's a growing petition of over 1,000 parents to reinstate her. Some of the signatories have children that were students at Sandy Hook during that incident.
Because I responded to you in a few different threads (each of which I have been actively posting in, not just to you)? Not stalking. Just because I responded to you fouling up one thread with your “Sandy Hoax” nonsense does not mean I need to ignore it when you try to foul up other threads with the same BS.
My guess is that there is an administrator who doesn’t like her. In my observation, many administrators were incompetent teachers, switched to administration and are incompetent there as well. Competent and respected employees are threatening, so the power tripping administrators seek to remove them for benign statements that can be twisted to appear as not following policy.
It happens all the time. This is why perverse teachers who really go over the line pushing the sodomite agenda with kids keep their jobs and teachers who hint at being conservative and/or Christian are dismissed.
Yeah. By all accounts (in this article and others), she handled the kid’s questioning well. Explained what happened in a sensitive, age-appropriate way, and tied it in to what they were doing - which is important, because a lockdown drill like this is completely useless if the participants (a) don’t care about what they’re doing and/or (b) don’t understand why.
You are not the consciense of anybody. Go away.
Oh gee, making fun of my login name without having any idea where it came from?
I guess I shouldn’t expect more from someone who would slander parents who lost their six-year-old children.
Have a nice day.
My guess is that we don’t hear “shoot” anymore because younger people don’t use euphemisms for swear words anymore. They just swear.
The culture is coarsening.
Good point.
Simply point and yell bang bang.
Who is going to complain? It would be anti gay!
...or go full auto and go butt, butt, butt, butt, butt....
