Clinton, Rubio Close In Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll Finds

FLORIDA: Clinton 47 - Rubio 44
OHIO: Kasich 47 - Clinton 40, Clinton 43 - Paul 43
PENNSYLVANIA: Rubio 44 - Clinton 43, Paul 45 - Clinton 44

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida runs best against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016 presidential matchups with eight top Republican contenders in three critical swing states, Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, according to a Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll released today. Voters in each state say by margins of 8 to 14 percentage points that the Democratic front-runner is not honest and trustworthy.

Clinton still leads or is in a too-close-to-call matchup in every race in each state, except for Ohio, where native son Gov. John Kasich leads 47 - 40 percent, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University Poll finds. The Swing State Poll focuses on Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania because since 1960 no candidate has won the presidential race without taking at least two of these three states.

Clinton's favorability ratings are 47 - 45 percent in Florida, negative 44 - 48 percent in Ohio and 46 - 48 percent in Pennsylvania.

She is not honest and trustworthy, Florida voters say 51 - 43 percent, Ohio voters say 53 - 40 percent and Pennsylvania voters say 54 - 40 percent.

"It's a long way until Election Day, but in the critical swing states of Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania, U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida has a tiny edge over the GOP field, "said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac Poll.

"Most of the eight GOP hopefuls are within striking distance of Secretary Hillary Clinton in at least one of the three states. In Ohio, Gov. Kasich leads."

"But perhaps more troubling for her than the continuing slide is how she is perceived by voters who continue to say she is not honest and trustworthy."

"But potentially more disturbing for her are low marks for caring about voter needs and problems. This is where Democrats almost always fare better than Republicans. Yet in this survey many Republican candidates do as well or better than does she," Brown added....................." Continues

If forced to choose between the two, people have trouble deciding which would be worse.

The BIG takeaway is that they don’t TRUST Hillary.

That will not improve going forward.

While both probably within the polling margin of error, does common sense tell you the Rubio could be leading Clinton in Pennsylvania while trailing in his home state of Florida?

She is not honest and trustworthy, Florida voters say 51 - 43 percent, Ohio voters say 53 - 40 percent and Pennsylvania voters say 54 - 40 percent

What this means is that Mrs. B-J Clinton, with 40 to 43 percent of the vote locked up solid in these states (she's "honest and trustworthy", doncha know?) she only needs to work for 7 to 10 percent more voters in each state to defeat the surprisingly weak Rubio.

she wont poll better in the future. nothing she says or does is going to change 23 years of perception. But the Republican winner has nothing but upside. I think Cruz (my guy) or Walker could beat her. If jeb gets the nomination, then I fold my laptop and go to bed for 5 years.

The polls at this stage mean nothing. However everybody thinks they do, so that means something.

The public still has its head up its anal exit passageway and has no clue who’s running. This poll measures name recognition.

The only poll that matters is the election, and that is determined by how many people actually leave the house to vote or bother to get and send in an absentee ballot.

The polls are interesting.

They are a snapshot in time.

We all follow them.

Election Day, November, 2016 Happenings: Here is all you folks need to know. If the Democrats are dumb enough to nominate Hillary Clinton as their candidate for POTUS, and, it appears they will do exactly that...you will have an early night on Election Day. Why? Immediate exit polls and early voting results will quickly reveal that Texas, Florida & Ohio will have gone heavily for the Republican nominee, whoever that may be. And with those three states going massively Red, the Republicans will control the POTUS, the House & the Senate, the state governments with massive majorities!!! Obama & Clinton are absolute poison for the Democrat Party. Obama is already meaningless as the supreme lie teller and “Lame Duck” failure!!! For all practical purposes, Obama can now crawl back into the cesspool hole he came from. Nobody listens to him or cares either!!! Total ZERO!!!
