Jeb Bush slow-jams the news with Jimmy Fallon, awkwardly

Jeb Bush became the latest politician to “slow jam the news” with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday’s episode of “The Tonight Show,” joining a list that includes President Barack Obama, Mitt Romney and Chris Christie. And it was just a little … awkward.

“Aww, yeah… The governor thought long and hard about joining the GOP race. After months of being a total caucus tease, Jeb finally made up his mind and quit beating around the bush,” Fallon intoned, beginning a slow-jam rife with sexual innuendo. “Now that you’re fully in, what makes you think you got what it takes to go all the way?” “Well in my two terms as governor, I cut taxes every year, passed the first statewide high school choice system and created 1.3 million new jobs, the most in the country. So I know we can fix the problems facing our nation, because I’ve already done it during my eight years in Florida,” Bush, playing the straight man, said.

“Mmm mmm mmm … you gots to listen to my man Jebediah. He’s got lots of experience down south,” Fallon crooned. “He came from Texas, where everything is bigger, turned Florida from a limp peninsula into a virile member of the U.S. economy.”

Calling Bush names like the “World Wide Jeb” and “Li’l Jebbie,” Fallon issued a warning to his Republican opponents.

“Because when it comes to debating, he’s a master,” Fallon joked. “A master debater,” chimed in Black Thought, a member of The Roots, Fallon’s in-house band.

Asked about his views on immigration, Bush gave his response and then translated it into Spanish.

Fallon is a putz stooge with no talent. It follows then that he should have no-talent guests.

His name is John Ellis Bush (JEB) not Jebediah.

You know what, people? You better do everything you can to get Tea Partiers elected to the House, Senate and your local offices.

It's obvious the Men Seeking Men mediums are pushing Hillary's step-brother-in-law, Jeb, to be the Republican candidate.

Feel free to dislike the man and dislike his politics.
He clearly does have talent as a comedian, singer, and entertainer.
Sometimes one must set aside politics and have some laughs.

The vitriol isn’t as thick as it is with W, Jeb isn’t hated as much, its just the Name. Kinda like in your face Clinton is to Conservatives. Put her on the show and they will go wild, it’s in NYC, its where most of her $$$ comes from and where most of the liberal ladies and metro sexual males dwell. I’m sure Bernie will work his way in too, he’s originally from Brooklyn, same area as Schumer and Weiner. Fallon’s audience will go wild when they get Hillary and Bernie on.

Perception of talent is in the eye of the perceiver. I’ve never really found anything to laugh about with him, frankly.

It isn’t the name BUSH connected with Jeb that makes me vehemently against him. His penchant for taking everything Latin above American is what steels me against him.

There is no circumstance under which you’d find me voting for him. Ever.

johnny carson photo: Johnny Carson as Carnac Carnac.jpg

Yeah, Fallon was the worst when he was on SNL, can't understand how he got the Tonight Show.

Although to be fair, Johnny Carson himself was phoning it in after the 70's.

Fallon is not your friend. Having him interview you opens you to ridicule, which he does very well.

They don’t want to get to know you. They are looking for a flaw or something they can blow up out of proportion and blast all over the news.

Fallon does the most juvenile things on his show. They all do now. It shows the mentality of their audiences. It’s not funny, those stupid games they do.

No President with the first name John has been elected more than once (John Adams, John Quincy Adams, John Tyler, John Calvin Coolidge, John F. Kennedy). John Tyler wasn’t even elected once. So a President John Ellis Bush would be sure to lose in 2020.
