The density of Earth is ~5.51 g/cm³ while the density of water is ~1.0 g/cm³.
There is a lot more rock than water down there.

:’) Thanks ct, yeah, this isn’t getting a ping list ping, we had a rash of topics about this some months back, and intermittently over the past few years. The ringwoodite keyword contains all, or perhaps just most of the topics about it. The upshot of it is, there *may* be water sequestered in deep-earth formations of a certain composition, but if so, it is trapped there, and it didn’t get trapped there 4000 years ago after the Flood. :’)

That’s a really good point. You also get rainbows at waterfalls and some cloud formations. I’m just saying that it’s wrong to force a meaning onto the text when it does not compel that particular meaning.
