Why do I think she is running a smart race?
She is transparent she opened up her tax returns to the media for inspection. So..not just talking about transparency, but doing it and doing it first.
She is going hard for the womens vote preemptively trying to get that vote from Secretary Clinton (to the extent any women or anyone votes only on gender.) She has hit feminism hard and is giving women a choice.
She is competing strong with the men. She seems like one of the boys rather than the token woman candidate. And you know what I mean she can hold her own.
She is out there talking about her foreign policy experience being more vast than any other candidate. To back it up, she talks about Putin and others.
She leans heavily on her experience as CEO of HP, and has used her HP firing effectively in her campaign.
She is direct when she gets asked a question, she answers (so far, you dont get that blather of talking points some candidates will dish out.)

She’s running for Vice President - but I agree, she is doing surprisingly well in that effort.
Some have said she trashed HP, and she’s a social liberal, pro choice etc
Carly shines and impresses!
I like Carly. If she doesn’t make it as VP, she would make a great Secretary of Commerce.
She won’t get the feminist vote, lesbian vote, transgender (the Caytlan vote), the black vote, etc.
I actually believe that Carly Is running for Secretary of Commerce or something like that since I see little chance for her to win the GOP nomination..
But, given that, in interviews she comes off as very smart and tough lady. I watched her interview last week on Bret Baier’s Show and she was very impressive. She covered the issues in some depth and didn’t duck any of the questions about her time at HP.
You can be a constitutional conservative but also be social liberal/pro choice.
Lol. I sure wouldn't run on that record.
She says she is pro life.
I’m totally OK with her as VP.
Unfortunately, I’m all for the Commerce Department being eliminated.
As for the Education Department.
As for the Energy Department.
Shall I go on?
I concur!:)
Im glad she is out there fighting.
Carly Fiorina is an uncommonly strong candidate. I don’t think she’s running for VP or a cabinet selection although I’m sure she would be given serious consideration should someone else win.
A better token woman for VP consideration would be Susan Martinez because she’s Hispanic and would be a twofer running mate
AGREED! I saw her interviewed on Bret Baier.
Her answers showed real depth of thought... she actually ANSWERED questions.
Well, that also means some haven't said that.
She neutralizes Hillary!s biggest selling point.
Perhaps. But Carly is mildly pro-life, squishy on other social issues, and from the Romney/McCain wing of the GOP, so the description above certainly doesn't apply to her.
Carly is a very good candidate. VP or the top job. Better her than one of the Washington candidates. Cruz is the biggest disappointment.
