No Democrats are willing to go on the record with their doubts about Hillary Clinton’s electability – not even the gaggle of hopeless, sad-sack nominal opponents for the nomination: Lincoln “metric system” Chafee, Bernie “socialism now!” Sanders, and Martin “the guy who taxed rain” O’Malley. But a shocking potential rival is waiting in the wings.
The realization is dawning on many in the jackass party that they have an unappealing, gaffe-prone, self-entitled, scandal-ridden presumptive nominee on their hands. I called out the growing subterranean panic three weeks ago. Now with CNN polling revealing movement away from Hillary, the conservative press (here, here, and here, for instance) is joining me in highlighting the panic that the Democrats still fear open mention of.
The problem for the Dems is that their bench is ridiculously thin. Leave aside the joke candidates already in the field, and all they’ve got is Elizabeth Warren, who, for all her socialist rhetoric (and personal profiteering from real estate flipping) and her affirmative action gamesmanship as a phony Native American, is a good talker. But even in deep blue Massachusetts she was unable to deliver a convincing victory in her Senate run. And perhaps knowing about more hypocrisy in her background, she is not anxious at all to throw herself into a run for the White House, with all the scrutiny that would entail.

I predicted a second bloom for Bloomberg. I like that he is a ‘law and order man’ and would likely endorse ‘stop and frisk’ tactics. I don’t like that Bloomberg seems determined to destroy the Second Ammendment just to make people do things his way. He is a seriously compulsive control freak.
Still, if he can push Humpty Dumpty Hillary to fall off that coronation wall, I welcome his appearance in the race.

So the left thinks Bloomy can save them from Broomy? It would really fire up their alleged base of “the little people” to have a white megabillionaire try to buy the presidency after having bought an illegal extra term in NYC. Romney was a piker by comparison. The GOP could rerun every ad Obama ran against ‘our’ rich guy, ending by crossing out Romney’s name/picture and inserting “100x richer Bloomberg’s.” And to be ‘fair’ shouldn’t Bloomberg ‘News’ have to go dark for the race, or give the GOP 50% control of their output???
Kind of reminds me of English history in the late 18th century when King George III was displaying fits of insanity and “melancholy”. His advisers dare not say it in public but they wrote in their diaries, “The King is mad...”

Don’t remember who it was talking to Hugh Hewitt’s replacement last week, who said, ‘The Democratic Party was decimated by the last few elections, especially 2014. All their 50 year old rising stars were wiped out. They have very few governors too. Hilary’s one of the few left standing.’ It was just the best news I’d heard, so clearly, in a while.
They picked a candidate who is pretty poor at hiding their corruption. The evil intent is what I worry about more. She could be miss mao.
