Coburn was one of those who worked to dump Newt as house Speaker, despite what Coburn says about government waste it appears the only reason to dump Newt was so Republicans could participate in irresponsible spending. It also appears he supports the US Chamber in their quest to populate America with illegal aliens and to destroy middle class America. Coburn is apparently a Haley Barbour follower.
