WASHINGTON (AP) -- The National Security Agency will lose its authority at midnight to collect Americans' phone records in bulk, after an extraordinary Sunday Senate session failed to produce an 11th-hour deal to extend the fiercely contested program.

This lets Obama off the hook and puts pubbies there, for the destructive event that is coming real soon to a neighborhood like ours.
We could have lived with this until after the election. Obama owned every decision making us weaker and more vulnerable. I hate it that Obama will be able to unburden himself from the coming domestic terrorist attacks.

What I can’t understand is why this sort of tactic isn’t used to stop other destructive legislation, Obamacare, for instance.
