The borders are wide open, and everyone knows this. Obama owns that, whether he likes it or not. So, having this lapse for what will probably be just a few days doesn't matter because the country is already unsafe and will continue to be that way even if/when this act is fully reinstated. The Patriot Act is irrelevant because the Open Borders crowd has made it so.
