LEXINGTON — Two-thirds may not have been his crowd at the beginning of the night, but by the time state Republicans left Lexington’s Marriott Griffin Gate Saturday they at least had a dose of humor, and an attempt at reunification from freshly minted nominee Matt Bevin.
U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell was back in Washington D.C., but that didn’t stop his one time rival from attempting to make light of potential tension between Bevin and McConnell at the statewide Republican Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday.
A video was played to illustrate the true nature of the Bevin/McConnell relationship. Bevin, the former Senate primary challenger, is seen in the skit wearing a “Team Mitch” shirt, and talking lovingly on the phone with the senior senator.
The video drew laughter, and applause from the packed Republican crowd. [click link to view video and see full article]

It's time to stop your whining and start thinking what's best for the country going forward. It's far better to have McConnell as Senate leader than Reid. You're stuck with him, so man up, deal with it, and think about stopping Obama for the next year and a half.
We can “think about stopping Obama” all we like but with Mammoth Cave McConnell on top, it’s all just fantasy

Actually, it says more about you. The fact that you didn't get it only proves the point.
No, I get it. I get it loud and clear. Above, as a matter of record, you acknowledge that McConnell is a socialist and globalist, devoid of any principle or values, and who doesn’t give a damn above America. He only cares about his own self interest. But yet, you openly endorse and support him.
You’ve clearly articulated your vision of America and your allegiances in your comments— I get it.
I voted for Bevin every chance I got.
What specific difference has it made? I don't see any. He couldn't or wouldn't even rally Pubs to reject an Attorney General who said illegal aliens have just as much right to a job as American citizens do. McConnell is more concerned with stopping conservatives than stopping Obama. You need to man up and accept reality.
Remember, he’s being sent to Frankfort, not DC.
Who else would get elected Senate leader ? Not a Conservative, that’s for sure.
