To hear Hillary Clinton tell it, Sidney Blumenthal was no more than an old friend trying to help out by dropping her an occasional unsolicited e-mail with advice.
And the only reason she listened, she said, was to keep from being “caught in the bubble” of hearing only from “a certain small group of people.”
Now we know better. Turns out Blumenthal was no casual correspondent: He was repeatedly plying her with dubious “intelligence” on Libya — much of which turned out to be false, but which she nonetheless passed on to State Department underlings.
In fact, we learned this week, Bill Clinton in 2009 hired Blumenthal as a $10,000-a-month full-time employee of the family “charitable” foundation — even as Sid was also working with two groups now pushing Hillary’s campaign. And “consulting” for a firm with business interests in Libya that would’ve required State approval.
Hillary actually wanted to bring Blumenthal — once termed “the most pro-Clinton writer on the planet” — on board at State.
White House officials nixed that, still furious over Sid’s role during the 2008 campaign in spreading dirt on Obama.
We have no idea what Blumenthal did to earn his foundation pay, but Hillary’s pretense that he’s ever been less than a key member of the Clinton inner circle is ludicrous.
For decades, Blumenthal has fed both Clintons dirt on their foes and helped fuel their “vast right-wing conspiracy” fantasies. Despite Hillary’s disavowal, he never left the middle of that Clinton bubble.
And Clinton — followed quickly by the rest of Team Obama — sure seized on his assurance that the attack on the Benghazi consulate was a spontaneous reaction to an anti-Islam video. (And never mind all the evidence that it was a long-planned terrorist attack.)

Always remember it was Sid Blumenthal who was about to spread the filth that Monica Lewinsky was a stalker. It was Sid’s close friend, Christopher Hitchens, who stopped that - going directly to the FBI once he found out what was happening. Sid then set out to ruin Hitchens’ career - which did take a hit for awhile - but he came back stronger than ever.
LOL-—Bruce and Sid both have female derangement syndromes.
At the time of the incident, just a day or two before the New Hampshire primary, this should have resulted in none stop coverage by the media. As in top Hillary aide busted for DWI by Nashua NH police ... nothing happened the story was buried. Had this type of scenario played out with a Republican, let’s say Bush for instance, it would be front and center in the media ... no question.

Sid was running Hill's 2016 campaign at the "charity"---that's gotta be good for a couple indictments (dreaming).
At a Foundation employee Blumenthal was also a paid consultant to American Bridge and Media Matters — two Democratic groups affiliated with Clinton ally, David Brock.
Blumenthal was also being paid to work-up deals w/ businesses looking for Libyan contacts.
All of this while feeding Hillary top secret intel.

Blumenthal most likely was involved in multitasking with respect to the Vince Foster rubout!
On the hot July afternoon one day before Vince Foster's body was found in Ft. Marcy Park, a 17 year-old girl spotted a man in the area of Fort Marcy Park near where Foster's body was later found, who appeared strange to her because he was wearing a suit and red tie on such a hot day. The adolescent girl's description of the man's race, age, height, weight, and hair color - reported to police a few days later - matched that of Sid, and the suit and red tie (see photo with this article) are common clothing choices for him. So the suspicion is that Sid was that man, reconnoitering the Park for an appropriate body dumping site in preparation for the rubout the next day.
Sid also likely was involved in setting up the victim for a fatal ambush by luring the unsuspecting Foster for a "media interview" to an office to which Sid had access in his role at the time as Washington editor of The New Yorker.
Then, showing his true versatility at multitasking, Sid wrote an armchair psychoanalysis of Foster in his magazine several days later, kicking off "the Foster was depressed and committed suicide" cover-up, which the bulk of the MSM still buys into to this day.
The recent job in Libya was NOT Sid's first intelligence operation for HRC and friends!
