Those who think the minimum wage doesn't cost jobs might want to have a chat with unions in Los Angeles.

It does seem like the unions want invaders who are employed to be able to vote against the minimum wage, thus making the unions the only way have legal cheap labor. What a metamorphosis. Unions are now a primary enemy of the US worker.

Notice they want an _exemption_, not _repeal_.
Union workers rarely operate at minimum wage - but their wages are tied to it, so they want the minimum wage raised so they can indirectly compel companies to raise all union wages (”minimum wage just went up 30%, so you’ll have to raise those $60/hr wages to $80/hr ... it’s the law ya know, we can’t do nutin’ about it ...”).
But when the union is the one actually shelling out the money, they’ll want exemptions from minimum wage laws so they don’t have to pay more.

Of course they want to be exempted. They’re good little National Socialist Democrat thugs. Their wages are tied to minimum wage meaning that every time the MW goes up they get to demand more money but they certainly don’t want to be forced to pay their administrative people and others anything other than slave wages. If they had to pay them more, the leadership couldn’t continue to live the millionaire lives of privileged democrat thug-thieves.

It’s a blatant ploy to force unionization by having union shops cost less. The good old Mafia method.

It’s typical. They want something they think will benefit the union then oppose it when they find out it’ll hurt them financially.
