Zimbabwe’s black president Robert Mugabe has launched a new campaign to seize land from the country’s white farmers.
When he celebrated his birthday on February 28 with a $1.2 million extravagant party and anti-white tirade, Mr. Mugabe reportedly vowed to extend the brutal and disastrous land grabs, which have seen thousands of white farmers pushed out of their farms since 2000, to game reserves in Zimbabwe.
“Zimbabwe has lots of safaris but very few are African,” said Mr. Mugabe, according to The Telegraph. “Most are white-owned. In our region, we have the most safaris and animals. But we are now going to invade those forests. Our people cannot keep suffering.”
Mugabe, who has been in power since 1980, said that unless the U.S. lifted economic sanctions imposed since 2002, he would not allow white game reserve owners to stay in Zimbabwe.
His administration signaled in January the land grabs would continue until every remaining white-owned farm was taken, according to media reports.

I hate to be flippant about it because people are being murdered over there, but with the current political climate in this country, it is impossible to do anything about it. We shall be very lucky if we can keep similar things from happening here, the way things are going.

These people don't really understand that it is the system of farming and proper use of agricultural methods that the so called white farmers use and NOT the magical or superior properties of the land that creates a reasonable crop to harvest. They just see the end result of the Farmer's labors and think they are cheating in some way.
..... . These people think that the white farmers used their "White Privilege" to obtain the best land for use for farming. However ..... most of these folks don't even have a clue of how to actually farm and will be very disappointed with the outcome of their land grab. They will believe that the "White Farmer" cursed the land in some way as an explanation for their own crop failures.

You’re describing a “cargo cult” mentality. Many people in the U.S. have that mentality as well. Grocery stores are where food comes from. Department stores are where clothing and shoes come from. Build a bank in a neighborhood, and money just happens to be in a vault. Wealth just happens. Some people are greedy and don’t want to share.
In Uganda and elsewhere, they expelled all the Indians and seized their businesses, mostly small shops. They were given to Africans, who almost without exception sold the stock, spent the gross receipts on personal stuff and then had no capital with which to restock.
Business gone in short order.
