Let’s take the option of deadly force off the table for federal law/tax enforcement as well.
Meaning, if I simply refuse to comply, they MAY NOT use deadly force or the threat thereof to make me.

Official: Police shoot, kill suspect in south Chicago suburb
Posted 5:59 am, May 18, 2015, by Associated Press
HARVEY, Ill. (AP) _ A spokesman the southern Chicago suburb of Harvey says police have shot and killed a robbery suspect who fired a weapon at officers in a church parking lot.
Harvey spokesman Sean Howard says the suspect was shot in the head by an officer Sunday afternoon outside St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where he says about 200 people were gathered in a fellowship hall.
Howard says officers had pursued the man following the report of an armed robbery at a dollar store. He says the suspect fled the store on foot and went inside the church about two blocks away, trying to hide cash inside a bathroom.
After running back outside, Howard says the man was confronted by an officer and pointed a weapon at police, firing it at least twice.

A San Diego police officer was shot in the torso Sunday morning near a hospital complex, KNSD-TV reported.
She is expected to survive, San Diego police said, and one suspect has been shot and killed.
The shooting started with a high-speed pursuit when a speeding silver Jeep refused to pull over, KNSD reported, prompting police to give chase.
After the female officer was shot near the hospital complex off Highway 163, two other officers shot the suspect, who was declared dead at the scene, police said.
Lt. Mike Hastings said police body cam footage of the incident may be forthcoming.

John McAdams at Right Wisconsin reported:
Marquettes Gender and Sexuality Resource Center was set up as a sop to the campus gay lobby in the wake of Marquettes refusal to hire aggressively lesbian Arts & Sciences dean candidate Jodi OBrien. Not surprisingly, it has consistently pursued a leftist secular agenda including, for example, the Femsex Seminar, which was so raunchy and so opposed to Marquettes supposed Catholic mission that the Administration ordered that sponsorship be withdrawn.
But now we have yet another case of the extreme leftist agenda of the organization. An entry from its Facebook page:
I was about to pass up comment on yet another clown opinion, but then it struck me.
What better way to justify disarming the public than to first disarm the cops?
Leaving only DHS and their like-minded agencies and their hollow-point inventory, with arms.
