A dad has been incorrectly accused of being a pedophile on Facebook by a woman he doesn't know. The woman is now mortified and begging for forgiveness. Both say they are "devastated" by the events surrounding the misunderstanding.
The moral of the story: Don't post stupid things on social media.

different stories from him and her. either he greeted the kids, took their pic and said he was gonna send it to a 16 year old, or she made that part up. if that is true, this is no innocent mistake on her part.

From reading the story it seems pretty clear she is an idiot and I hope he sues her and she has charges pressed against her.

Not so hypersensitive when there is a war on masculinity that portrays ever man as being a pedophile/rapist-in-waiting. It’s reached the point where men say they won’t come anywhere near a kid lost in a store.
wow....that is awful. im glad I grew up in a time before recording devices everywhere or i’d have been in a lot of trouble. you just cant make a stupid mistake nowadays. it’s kind of like joking about a bomb at an airport. you just cant do it or they throw the book at you.
I cant find anything on the internet about his outcome. the last update is over a year ago and he was still just facing a trial
What a vile woman.
As a single male 40 year old I don’t DARE talk to kids. I don’t acknowledge them, don’t talk to them, don’t talk to their parents, don’t walk by parks, and don’t even look at them. And it’s a shame. I take my dog for a walk past a park with kids at a playground. Kids want to play with the dog but I have to just keep walking. Kids like talking to other people. (excluding nieces and nephews and the kids of close friends) All it takes to destroy my life, my business, and send me to jail is a woman like this making a wild claim. There is no trial by jury for men in cases like this as demonstrated by this woman and the many cases of men being accused of things that never happened but they are still destroyed. He innocently talked to some kids and she tries to destroy him because of her paranoia.
Sad. I would sue her for everything she’s worth, which I doubt is much but it will never happen.
She claims SHE’S devastated? He should nuke/sue her from orbit....it’s the only way to kill this kind of thing.
In Costco last weekend, a young man (around 10 or so?) walking with his mother came up to me and offered me a piece of candy.
I, being both gracious and a candy lover, accepted his gift.
My wife opined that had the situation been reversed, the mother would have likely gone through the roof at me for being a pervert pedophile.
I can’t say that I disagreed with her.
