First Thanksgiving, now Mother’s Day. These gun-grabbing harpies will not be happy until they ruin every holiday with their idiot propaganda.

USA Today writes, “Sonja Woods says she came to Capitol Hill on Wednesday because her daughter was fatally shot by a man who flunked multiple background checks to buy a gun due to mental problems. So he bought the weapon at a hardware store that did not require a background check.”

"....bought the weapon at a hardware store that did not require a background check..." Well, that used to be the case when we didn't need "permission" to exercise our 2nd amendment rights. I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers being able to by surplus rifles delivered by the USPS to your front door. Popular Mechanics and other mags used to carry the ads. And cheap too. :>}

These Liberal “Moms” groups, like “Mom’s Demand Action (for Gun Control)” are the lowest of the low. They use their kids as props and are more interested in being political advocates, trotting all over the country to attend rallies, rather than actually taking care of their kids.

.....So he bought the weapon at a hardware store that did not require a background check.

LIAR! NO WAY! DID NOT HAPPEN!
The days of buying a gun without a background check are long gone!

"A mentally-ill maniac tried to buy a gun and was denied (system working!) and instead bought one at a hardware store? What hardware store was this? That’s entirely illegal, if it’s even true. The ATF would love to know more about an unlicensed hardware store selling ghost guns. I love when the gun-ignorant media tries to write about Second Amendment issues — gun-ignorant media like the USA Today, which just ran this hardware store fable without raising an eyebrow."

Fortunately, statistics suggest that ther are far fewer gun-ignorant Americans than in the past. (Also that "Moms Lacking Brains" are busily bailing out the Titanic when it's sitting on the bottom of the ocean.)

Used be able to buy a whole range of surplus rifles and have one delivered right to your door, no strings and no paperwork.

Then the government leviathan went nuts and the concept “of the people, by the people, for the people” died.

Now we’re all subjects, not citizens, and the kids don’t even know what it means to be free.

Sigh. Yup. Remember the ‘03A3 sprinfields, manlichers, Brit 303’s, Japanese rifles, Moison Nagants, Italian carbines..... Right to the front door no questions asked. And they’d be on the porch all day and nobody would take them.

When I was stationed in the BRD in the 70s I would order black powder weapons and they would be delivered to the battalion mail room. One time my co came into a class I was in to have me sign a release so he and the BN co could pick up my musket and check it out.

Reading that the store told the guy to lie on his background check so it would be approved. She’s lying that the store didn’t ‘require’ one
