David Cameron was on track to secure an astonishing electoral triumph according to a shock exit poll that predicted the Conservatives would win 316 seats up nine on 2010 with Labour plummeting to 239 seats, down 18.

Tories are still leftists AFAIK.
There is a core of genuine conservatives still within the Tories, but, yes, a lot of the party has gone heavily centrist and even into the left.
UKIP seems the best to me.
But can't win. Not yet. If they keep building, they might eventually be a real power in national elections.
For the moment, the choice in the UK is still Conservative or Labour - both may need smaller parties to govern, but they will still dominate any coalition. And of those choices, Conservative is better.
