Why do people keep writing these completely useless articles about “young” voters?

Republican versus Democrat is an ethnic issue, and, to a lesser extent, a gender issue.

It is not an age issue.

In 2012, “young” people voted about 60% Obama to 37% Romney.

But, “young white” people voted for Romney.

Young white males voted about 55% Romney to 41% Obama.

Young white women voted about 49% Romney to 48% Obama.

There are only two important things to understand about the “youth” vote:

(1) More females vote than males.

(2) Every year it becomes less and less white.

I checked your math, and it took just 4 states (FL, VA, OH, NH) and 430,000 votes to turn the 2012 election.

270 electoral votes needed to win.

Romney received 206. He needed 64 more.

Florida (29), Virginia (13), and Ohio (18) equal 60 electoral votes.

Either New Hampshire (4) or Iowa (6) could have pushed Romney to 270.

Using New Hampshire as the deciding state, the vote difference is just 430,000.

Yes...there are other combinations that would have put Romney in the WH.

Point is, it wasn't the runaway some think it was.

Isn’t going to happen.

They will get a Tweet from the DNC telling them to Vote and who to Vote for. They will comply without question.

Giving 18, 19 and 20 Year Olds the Vote was a tragic error that is contributing mightily to the destruction of America.

Doesn’t make any difference now, it will never change.
The new issue is Hillary wanting Illegal Invaders to be made Citizens, AKA Democrat Voters.

But were you bombarded daily with commie and liberal beliefs, supporting homos, homo marriage is natural, blah, blah, blah??? I wasn’t. We had school prayer, reading the Bible daily over the intercom before class started for the day. Don’t care what the Supremes decided in early 1960s. I graduated in 1969. We had daily Bible reading and prayer by the school until the day I left. How long that last I don’t know, but I know in the south, in our county school district, it was ignored.

Completely agree.

Few people realize that Romney got 1 million more votes than McCain, and that Romney lost by just 3.9% of the popular vote.

The idea that “Conservatives stayed home” in 2012 is completely false.

4.2 million “white” people stayed home.

100% of political commentators, like Rush Limbaugh, assume that means 4.2 million Conservatives stayed home.

100% wrong!

I believe I'm the only person in the world who has actually done the math on this.

In 2012, Obama lost 5.5 million white voters.

In 2012, Romney gained 1.4 million white voters compared to McCain.

The white folks who stayed home in 2012 were Obama voters in 2008.

The loss of God in our culture as the foundation of both our great nation and the morality that held it together is primary cause of our ongoing destruction.

Thank you!

Although ‘conservatives stayed home’ is pushed by the Rove crowd as a matter of religious belief.

“One would sure think so, considering how many “millenials” are living with their parents and cannot find decent employment.”

Eventually they will wake up, but many people would be surprised at how many young people aren’t “American”. Based on my limited experience, 75% of those under 10 aren’t.

Then there are the ones who are living with their GRANDPARENTS, because their gen X parents are either in jail, hooked on drugs, unemployed, dead or some combination of these. In some cases parents and children are living with the grandparents. Of course that was not really unusual way back when but it was for different reasons then.

Xers are also grandparents now. Some of us have our own grandkids living with us, and not necessarily for the reasons you list. Stop generalizing. SSDG.

Amen to that. I concur. It all started with taking away school prayer and Bible reading. Escalated to authorized murder of the unborn. Up to homo marriage. God is not looking kindly on America. We are following the track of all other great empires. We are walking the track of Rome now. Internal garbage society of homo sex is breaking the very fabric of family and decency and the LORD is withdrawing his hedge of protection from America. Things that never used to happen to this nation are now happening. More and more we go down hill and further into the cess pool. We are near the end. Something big is right over the hill and it will literately bring America to its knees, not in repentance, but in devastation. No, Americans will shake their collective fists at God and say we don’t need you, we can do it ourselves, and God is going to just move back that hand further and greater devastation will occur. I pray that he has mercy on those who believe and brings us home in the Rapture before the horrible justice falls on this nation. It is not going to be pretty watching this nation become a third world country over night.
