The winner of Sunday night's draw Muhammed art contest, which was attacked by terrorists influenced by ISIS, is speaking out and pleading for the West to fight back against attacks on free speech.
"We can't be cowed by this because once this goes, once free speech goes, it's over," Bosch Fawstin said during an interview with Fox News' Greta Van Susteren. "I've been drawing Muhammed for years and I heard about the contest and I took it upon myself to take part in it. I think it's an important thing. It's about freedom of speech, which is deadly important, especially right now. It's under siege by the enemy, the Islamic enemy, by the left, by some on the right and it is a constant attack. We are being told that we 'shouldn't do this' or we 'shouldn't do that,' and we have the right to do that and we need express that right especially right now."
"I understand the threat that we face and that's why I do what I do," he continued. "I don't refuse to do it because of the threat, I do it because we're being threatened. This has to be fought head on."

Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch and an organizer of the art contest, also made an appearance on The Kelly File last night to discuss not just the attack from the terrorists, but attacks from those who say the group had it coming by "provoking" Islam.

Well, they’ve already toppled “Free Exercise”, so with the demise of “Free Speech” they will have effectively neutralized the whole First Amendment.
Let’s say we capitulate, as the left wants us to do, on this one point of Sharia, because violating it “offends Muslims”.
What points of Sharia do they NOT want to capitulate on?
Because any “violation” offends Muslims.
Every day the media and popular culture attack, disrespect and vilify Christians, Christianity and Jesus Himself. Can anybody recall anybody murdered as a result. Was the “artist” responsible for the vile P*** Christ murdered? No. He got a federal grant. What about the “artist” who did the painting of Mary with elephant dung? Untouched.
We keep hearing how offensive the drawings are. The several that I saw were not gratuitously offensive. They may have been offensive in the sense that they used Muhammad to make a political point about Islam — like the winning drawing showing Muhammad threatening the artist with a sword — but nothing like the truly gratuitously offensive ways that, say Jesus has been portrayed. For instance, putting a crucifix in urine or graphically portraying Jesus as having gay sex. Yet even many in the conservative media take it as given that the drawings are offensive.

How many liberals who are saying Pamela Gellar shouldn’t have “provoked” the Muslims are backtracking on their support for the “Piss Christ” artist?
They just can't comprehend anything outside of their childish worldview.

Pamela Geller, Gert Wilders, and Bosch Fawstin (the winner of the contest) are real heroes that have not accepted to be intimidated by Islamic terrorists.
On January 17,2015 and in the same public school center, there was a “Stand with the Prophet” rally by Muslims, a provocative pro-Shariah law event, by supporters of Al-Qaida and Isis organized by one of the terrorists implicated in the bombing of the garage of the NY World Trade Center in 1993.
I wonder if those who try to blame the organizers of the “First Annual Muhammad Art Exhibit and Contest,” for the Muslim terrorist attack would have justified if a patriotic American had irrupted in the Muslim rally on January and made a massacre of Islamic terrorists. After all, Americans are profoundly offended by their provocation and the abuse of our freedoms by those who made the Muslim rally in support of the savages that decapitate, crucify and burned Christians alive.
The “Dhimmitude” media, scared by Islamic violence, auto-censors itself and tries to justify the terrorist attack in Texas because the Mohamed cartoons contest offended the sensibility of Islamic terrorists.
On January 2015, radical Islamists desecrated the holy soil of Texas. Do not mess with Texas!!!

It is interesting to note that the winner, Bosch Fawstin, was raised as a Muslim. He left his religion and became a Christian.

You are correct. We have Freedom of Speech. Everything has a price including speaking your mind. But the government can not put you in jail.
And you can lose your job over anything including having a stinky lunch.
