Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush declared Wednesday that 11 million immigrants in the country illegally should have an opportunity to stay, wading yet again into his party's contentious immigrant debate.
In tone and substance, Bush stands out among the many Republicans lining up for the GOP's next presidential primary, where conservatives who oppose an immigration overhaul often hold outsized influence. As he moves toward a presidential campaign, the brother and son of former presidents has not backed away from his defense of immigrants in the country illegally and a policy that would allow them to attain legal status under certain conditions.

I will vote for Cruz or not at all.
Next year, next year.
And it will be so much fun.......
He’s not any different than his fellow democrats.
Everyone with a brain knows you're correct.
In the eighties, when the Dems suckered Reagan into their amnesty plan, they said it was for one million. Turned into three million plus.
So, take 11 million and multiply by three, and you're probably a lot closer to the mark.
And think about the fact that the amnesty of three millions drew in more than thirty million more.
If that graph holds up, they're basically looking at opening to doors next to a number of foreign national invaders equal to our current population. Frightening.
The RNC/GOP wants to be sure everybody knows that if they vote for Bush they’re voting for amnesty so that if he wins that’s the first thing they will do.
Hey, the voters approved.
I may vote for a real Democrat for the first time.
I’m tired of voting for Democrats in R jerseys.
They should be allowed to stay!! not only that their aunts, uncles, cousins, daughter/sons/other/. wives/husbands/other, friends, enemies, dogs/cats, and grandparents should all be allowed to come!
and they should get health care, 500,000 dollar houses, free schooling one to one at home, three meals a day, four on weekends, trips to Disney world, a MasterCard, Visa and American Express, free donkey rides, a Porsche and pizza with guacamole toppings parties every Thursday.
At least he’s being upfront as to what kind of sell out he is, rather than letting us find out later...
Also, I heard that Schweizer, author of “Clinton Cash” has a book coming out this summer on Jeb. I presume it will include the Osorio scandal.
I live in illegal land, and none of these people strike me as anti gun, especially on New Years Eve or the 4th of July. But, having said that, I wouldn’t trust Jeb with my gun rights for one minute. He has Democrat written all over him.
He whines over illegal aliens, speaks Spanish at home, yet had no compassion for Terri Schiavo and her family.
I voted straight GOP ticket last fall thinking the GOpers were going to stand up for us. They have been very disappointing thus far.
If they install another stiff like JEB, before we even get to vote in the IN primary, that’s it for the Republican party and this pair of dice.
That is exactly where I am on all of this.
Immigrants, illegal and legal, vote overwhelmingly pro-abortion, anti-gun, pro-gay-marriage, etc. I.e., they vote for Democrats. Everyone knows it. The Catholic bishops want to destroy the pro-life movement, marriage, the Second Amendment, and freedom. That’s why they have made themselves part of the Obama coalition for open borders.
Sory, Jeb!
What we need to do is round every one of them up and send them back to the sh!thole country they came FRom!
We have enough problems without illegal aliens cluttering up the landscape.
And, while we are at it, we should round up all the Moslems in the USA and send them home too!
Who queried them to find out just how “anti gun” they were?
I want the Jebster and his Big Spender wife to remain in Mexico until that place is a magnet for US citizens.
I don’t want either one of them. If someone else isn’t on the ballot that I don’t have to hold my nose to vote for, then I’ll stay at home and save my gas.
It’s how they roll.
What do they care what the gun laws are? They’ll just break them anyway. Like the immigrations laws.
What a crock.
Anyone using that 11 million is lying through his teeth. The last Cal census...prolly 10 years ago showed almost ll million in California alone.
