Not an attempt to hi jack the thread. Obama had no direct comment on Baltimore until a question was asked by a reporters in a joint press conference with Japan. Then answered with weak boilerplate mostly directed at the investigation into police actions. Then “Some criminal thugs but overwhelming majority express concern about police.” “We have seen too many instances of police interacting improperly with primarily African Americans and this has been going on in too many places for too long.” “won’t federalize police forces but through the DOJ will reform bad police forces.”
