Time Warner Cable sucks you in with their internet..once you have high speed internet if you want to quit their TV services and go to Directv or elsewhere, instead of paying 35 bucks a month for high speed internet, you end up spending 60+ they are smart, they know how to suck you in

yes i do my internet on a comcast box, (verizon was putting out about 1mp. comcast is around 32mp for the same price) but tv is free or via netflix

Is that if you drop their so-called "Triple Play" (Internet, television, and telephone service), and go a la carte instead?

I don’t have another option for high speed internet with the same capability so it stinks, but what are you going to do...

Just wait until you quit 'em......when we switched to Verizon, our installer chatted us up on how when his buddy had gone elsewhere, TWC sent him to 'collection'.

Hearing this, I was very careful to turn ALL their gear in at their facility, and a week before the next month's due date.

Six weeks later I got a frigging demand letter from some collection agency! I wrote back to both the collector and Time Warner with copies of everything - threatening to own them all if any of this sh*t ended up on my Experian....I never got any sort of apology, but I did get a small check for the few days they actually owed me...
