Some few states have had Voter ID laws struck down, but they are States that were under the consent decree.

This aricle was on the mark. It won’t ever happen, but I honestly believe we need a test that demonstrates a minimum understanding of how our government works before voter registration cards are issued.
Has this not been the case since Andrew Jackson? Most people vote stupidly most of the time, and I include myself in that category, at least in my younger, stupid-er days.
By definition half of the eligible voting population will be below average, and since more of those below average are less likely to drag themselves to the polls, the election will be decided upon by the above-average portion of the population. The fault is not in the stupidity of the voter, but in the demonic allure of the progressive agenda, which turns people who have the opportunity for intelligence into seduced cult followers.
I would argue that anyone who voted for Obama, needs to be disenfranchised. That is the ultimate in IQ tests. If you voted for Obama, you are a stupid fool and the country needs to be protected from you.
I’ve got zero problem with voter ID laws that make sense (they do so far), but voter suppression is anti-Democracy and anti_America. Period. End of story.
G** damn right.
I’d say that any potential voter should be able to name his state’s senators and his district’s representative before being allowed to vote.
There is no way that restrictions on voting beyond indentification and citizenship are going to fly. So why should conservatives identify with this silliness? And in any case, who are the real idiots? You can make a very good argument that those who wait in line for an hour to cast what is in most elections ia worthless vote for the uniparty are the real idiots.
