This aricle was on the mark. It won’t ever happen, but I honestly believe we need a test that demonstrates a minimum understanding of how our government works before voter registration cards are issued.

Not only that, but we shouldn’t let people who don’t have an established history of gainful employment vote either...

They used to have one of those, it was called "tax payer."

The last three words of the 24th amendment pretty much guaranteed non-contributors (and therefore stupid) voting ever since.

... and the ability to speak English. Ballots should absolutely NOT be printed in any language except English.

There used to be a literacy test. Not quite an IQ test, but it may have had a similar effect. It was considered racist (and I’m not a history expert, but I believe that it was intended to be so) because it disproportionately prevented blacks from voting.

I doubt that a voter IQ test would ever fly, but I’d sure like to at least have a CANDIDATE IQ test! I’m tired of idiots being voted into office. And I’m especially tired of being lectured to by idiots (0vomit) who are too stupid to realize that they are idiots.
