Always make food with a set menu. If someone asks for something other than what is offered, then you have the reasonable explanation that you do not have the equipment or supplies to make something of that sort that is not on the menu.

Ask your local mosque if they will host a bar-mitzvah

By SHTF, do you mean society goes to anarchy? Because that would kill a lot of people who cannot get to their HIV mess every 4 to 6 hours anymore.

Not quite anarchy, but a place where a substantial amount of government largesse is going to have to be replaced with self-sufficiency. Survival will depend on being useful and resourceful, not fabulous.

It’s really hard to tell if internal or external attacks will cause the attacks, likely a combination of both. For instance, if we had nuclear attacks on the U.S., which could happen given all the good stuff America is doing at drawing down its military and pissing off the enemy, well a nuclear attack would cause anarchy, since communication with the federal government is dead, and most of the population is too.

President Barack Obama finds Indiana’s religious freedom law and others like it “unthinkable,” the White House said Wednesday.

Then what was he thinking when as a state senator in Illinois he voted for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act passed by that state with almost identical language as the Indiana statute?

Didn’t Bath House Barry vote for one of these laws when he was an Illinois state senator?
