I had a really weird conversation with an old friend from High School shortly after the Naval Yard facility shooting. It’s been festering in the back of my brain ever since. It went something like this.
Me: These gun free zones are dangerous. They’re encouraging exactly the sort of behavior that they claim to prevent.
Old Friend: I’m just thankful that other people didn’t have guns in there. Can you just imagine the carnage that could have resulted from a crossfire?

"Don't understand"=are devoid of reasonable thought process.
And the "other" person proves their "thought process" is non-functional.

Last week in the comments section of a news article discussing Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s comments on self defence, I volunteered the idea that if a burglar or rapist breaks into your home and you were to call the police and then a pizza place for an order, the pizza would probably come before the police did. Well, a gun control advocate pounced on me saying “So someone you don’t recognize walks to your door.. Since he’s probably a serial rapist you shoot him? Or open the foor (sic) pointing your girearm (sic) at him until you determine whether he’s a serial rapist?”
This, quoted verbatim, pretty much sums up gun control illogic IMHO.

Why stop there? Victims should stand quietly in a straight line. More efficient that way and nobody gets hurt.

Whenever Open Carry Laws are proposed, the first words out a Liberal’s Mouth are “it will be the Wild West out there”.
Then their predictions never happen and they are never called to task for their earlier idiotic comments.
I’d say every moment a shooter is forced to confront an armed school official is a moment the shooter is not shooting children.
Had people been armed, god forbid, someone could have been seriously injured
In general, one of the reasons there is such a wide gap in views between Gun Fearing Wussies and gun owners is that not only do the GFW’s know almost nothing about guns, they don’t even realize how little they know.
And, because they know that they are so much smarter than knuckle dragging gun owners, they don’t even realize how little they know.
They assume there is nothing more of value to know and that no one else - especially gun owners, could be more knowledgeable or more insightful than they are - including gun safety, handling, usage, tactics, etc., etc., etc.
It would have added one more to the body count ,,

And with the aid of the lsm, their lies hit the headlines first and the IPOS/SPOS/LPOS buy it hook, line and lead sinker.
For leftists, the issue is never the issue. The issue is always The Revolution.
They don't care about mass shooting. They don't care about individual shootings. They don't care about "high-cap magazines", or "assault weapons" or "Saturday night specials" or "cop-killer bullets" or any other of their fabricated bogeymen.
They want to disarm YOU. Yes, YOU Personally. They want to disarm you completely. "Common sens gun control" == you don't even have a sharp knife to defend yourself with.
Leftists want complete control over every aspect of your life. Leftists want you groveling before them, with their boot in your face.
Kinda hard to do that if you can shoot them.
So they're for "gun control". It helps The Revolution.
All leftists want control and govt to compel/force stuff onto us.
