Idaho family named as suspects in fatal Arizona Walmart brawl

PHOENIX - The suspects in a fatal brawl with police outside an Arizona Wal-Mart have been identified as a family from Idaho who had apparently been living in a vehicle in the store's parking lot for days before the melee, authorities said on Tuesday.

....police responded to a report that a female Wal-Mart employee was assaulted by multiple suspects. Police said the officers were immediately attacked by the suspects in the parking lot and that during the fracas, 21-year-old Enoch Gaver was shot and killed, while his brother David Gaver, 28, was shot in the abdomen....Those arrested on charges including aggravated assault and attempted homicide were Peter Gaver, 55, and Ruth Gaver, 52, and their children Nathan Gaver, 27, Jeremiah Gaver, 29, and David Gaver, as well as a juvenile whose identity was not released....several of the Gavers were sidewalk musicians who perform in a Christian band called Matthew 24 Now....a Facebook page apparently set up by the band in June 2013 but not updated since last December..."we have been busking on the streets of Boise Idaho for the last 3 years"

We’re sort of practicing being retired and have taken our RV to snow bird locations like Arizona and Florida. We are committed to never staying at a Walmart although they do actually have electric hookups and 24/7 security. The only time we did anything like that was when we pulled an old trailer we had filled with emergency supplies down to Baton Rouge after Katrina and Rita to leave it with some folks we knew. They told us to camp that first night in the Lowe’s parking lot for security sake so we did. The next day we went west to the area hit by Rita and no, we never tried to navigate NO.

But Walmart is definitely a good place to shop for those of us traveling the highways. They are all laid out the same, clean bathrooms, really good ready to go, microwave and eat food and except in Kansas, cheap wine.

There is definitely something missing from this story. Three shots were fired with one member of the family being killed and other member being wounded in the abdomen. “not clear who fired”? I don’t believe that for one second. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the injured cop wasn’t wounded by “friendly fire”, possibly even by himself/herself. Anyhow, I’m waiting for all the facts to come out on this strange case. I’d suggest others also reserve judgement and not automatically assume the family is wholly responsible for this incident.

I AVOID WALMART AS MUCH AS I CAN! Yeas I’m screaming, Very ugly Walmartians everywhere, Employees that don’t give a crap. Rude people all over, will run you down with their shopping carts. Small elephants riding scooters that smell so bad that it can gag a cat.
