When Republican presidential posturing turns into definitive action, the critics come out like clockwork. It happened last week when Donald Trump announced he had formed a presidential exploratory committee and was immediately met with accusations he was disingenuous, unqualified or seeking publicity.
Something similar is now underway against Sen. Ted Cruz, who will step before a Liberty University student convocation at precisely 10 a.m. on Monday and reveal hes running for the White House in 2016. The Texas Republican is skipping the exploratory phase. Caustic headlines have arrived before he even gets to the microphone, these from the last 48 hours:
Cruz stirs suspicion with major speech (The Hill); Ted Cruz is first to declare, and thats probably not a good thing (Bloomberg News); Canadian born Ted Cruz to enter GOP race for president, let the birther stories begin (Politic365.com); Cruzs bid for Republican nomination draws mixed reaction (Houston Chronicle); Be afraid. Cruz announces presidential run Monday (Capitol Hill Blue); Critics pile on ahead of Ted Cruz 2016 announcement (MSNBC); Ted Cruz is starting with less support than anyone since Bill Clinton (Washington Post); and The 6 Most extreme views of presidential hopeful Ted Cruz (ThinkProgress.com).[continued]

No conservative will get a fair shake. So screw em.
Are they “birthers”?
How'd that work out for Bill? How are they making this a negative?
Exactly! They’re not really thinking that through, are they?
Rat critics are cockroaches....
1- He is not "natural born".
2- He is a radical tea party sympathizer.
3- He holds radical views on immigration.
4- He has no experience, since he has never been a governor.
5- He is a "fake" hispanic.
And those attacks are the ones just from the so-called republicans.
I have every intention of supporting him in his campaign.
To hell with republicans...I'm a conservative.
The republicans have become the party of pussies.
I'm tired of it.
My financial contributions from this day forward are going to be directed toward Ted Cruz...I will not give one red cent to the Republican Party, as such.
Better Canadian-born than Kenyan-born.
Item 1: I think Ted is OK. I know 0 isn’t.
Item 2: I damn sure hope so.
Item 3: I damn sure hope so.
Item 4: LOL. Those governors in general have done a really good job for us. 210 Trillion in debt. Industries sent off shore. Entering wars they have no intention to win. Not too worried about governors.
Item 5: LOL! What rot!
Will be sending campaign money as soon as I can figure out how. Shouldn’t be too hard. Good luck Jeb, you are going to need it.
Not Trump, how could they say that about him??
I say Donald Trump is disingenuous, unqualified or seeking publicity if he tries to run under any party banner.
But I am sure Ted Cruz would be a very good president if elected. He is a true constitutional conservative. The hard part is getting him or any Republican elected as that 47% of Americans are still out there and subject to the lies & benefit inducements the Democrats come up with.
Cruzs wife is hardly unknown on Wall Street. It was a few young whippersnappers there who kept Bill in the race after Gennifers name was introduced and before Hillary saved his ass.
The left is trying to suppress contributions to Cruz’s campaign:
This is Vox’s shot at it:

But closer reading reveals:
“Correction: This article originally stated that the site doesn’t use SSL encryption at all. In fact, the submission of the credit card data is encrypted...”
And the NY Observer’s:
http://observer.com/2015/03/donating-to-ted-cruz-is-a-digital-minefield/
“...the site is still only partially encrypted...”
The truth:
Donations via credit card ARE encrypted and more than reasonably safe.
