Am I the only one seeing the Drudge Report starting to pander to the left lately?
Is he being threatened to change the way he does things with his website?
No need to answer straight away but I would suggest a more critical eye.
All this time Mr. Drudge has been a steadfast right of center website. He has always driven the left crazy with his way of framing any issue with an alternate headline meant to evoke a certain, um, right feel; for the lack of a better way of saying it.
What say you after giving it some thought?
I don’t think Matt is drinking any Kool Ade. But he is right to worried about the direction of the Net after the debacle at the FCC.

Drudge hasn’t ran his site for years. Breitbart was involved with running it for him at one time (and Breitbart was clearly a libertarian, not a conservative).
Other than Matt Drudge’s pro-life stance, he appears to be libertarian on social issues and conservative on economic issues.
My opinion, not really. Take last Sunday, drudge’s main story was that one about US jets not letting Israel go to Iran (or however it is best worded). That story may have even been a bit bogus so it surprised me that Drudge made such a big deal of it, may have even red-lettered it.
Sometimes Drudge posts Leftist stuff just to call attention to its absurdity.

Rupert Murdoch’s last wife was a ChiCom.
He’s spoken favorably of having PIAPS as POTUS.
In addition, there’s a photo of Murdoch having a good time with Jeb Bush and Valerie Jarrett. The Aussie is anything but a conservative. Crony capitalist who was smart enough to bring in Roger Ailes to run Fox News.
Drudge is gay. So he’s more libertarian than conservative.
He also might be worried about the FCC...
I don’t see it. Drudge posts articles from various sources. He doesn’t create the story or articles.

He does this periodically, the better to seem a little less bias than the lefty MSM presstitutes.
He tends to get fixated on weather, a few RINO’s, Coulter stuff, and plays with homo imagery jokes with photos, or links between simultaneously displayed photos.
He was in-person at the March for Justice, 15 years ago.
Without FR, him and Rush Conservativism wouldn’t stand a chance.
I heard that almost all DC political consultants check Drudge 10 or more times each and every day:
They UNDERSTAND the MSM are wall-to-wall toadies so they already KNOW what they’ll say (which is to say what they’re TOLD to say).
But they do NOT know what The Samizdat will say, and so they have no choice but to check Drudge, and a few others.
Drudge understand it was vicious honesty and Going Where the Stink Is that elevated him up and out of a SOUVENIR SHOP.
He was a mixed-up high-school loner and I think you’ll get blood out of a stone before he puts that at risk by coming down with Potomac Fever.

Over the last year or two I’ve not noticed any significant changes at The Drudge Report
I don’t think Drudge is left or right. He just aggregates headlines. He gets accused of being right because the media in general is so far left of him he stands out.
