I’d say justice was served.
You cannot say this without first determining whether the man actually committed the rape, and second whether the courts would punish one who is proven guilty. One of the most basic tenets of conservative philosophy is that the rule of law supersedes the rule of men.
Looks like it. I was in the Philippines years ago and our neighborhood watch caught 2 guys stealing clothes and something else from another dudes home. After getting caught, almost the entire neighborhood beat the sh*t out of the 2 thieves until they were a bloody mess. Witnessed it myself. Poor saps. Once the cops arrived, the barangay’ or vicinity captain said in tagalog “they slipped off the roof and fell”.
Justice is served? Beating to death someone who is simply accused?
Well I hope someday that a mentally unstable woman accuses you of rape to “get even” with you and that you are summarily dragged through the streets and beat to death as well. That would truly be justice. Think about what you advocate, and how much power you would put in a single person’s control, how scary of a world would it be if all it took for you to loose your life, was one chick telling a lie about you.
