Parliament speaker Ali Larijani warns that if Israel dares attack Iran with US congressional support, the Americans should expect to see “Israel in a wheelchair.”
An Iranian reaction to the speech of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the US Congress was not long in coming, with numerous harsh criticism leveled at the speech and Israel.
“The only one who is angry and upset about the course of negotiations is an occupying regime that sees its survival in war and invasion,” said President Hassan Rouhani in reference to Netanyahu’s speech in a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Iran’s Mehr News reported.
“People in the world, as well as the Americans, are much more perceptive than to trust the words of advice from a regime that has a long reputation for causing conflict and crisis,” said Rouhani.
Parliament speaker Ali Larijani warned on Wednesday that if Israel dares attack Iran with US congressional support, the Americans should expect to see a “crushing and multilateral response” that would leave “Israel in a wheelchair,” Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported.
Netanyahu’s speech was nothing but “an hour of repetitious slogans” demonstrating the “fake regime’s anxiety,” said Larijani.
The problem for Israel is not Iran’s nuclear program, but the regional influence of the Islamic Revolution, he added.
Larijani also rejected Netanyahu’s accusation that Iran supports terrorism, calling the claim “ridiculous,” Iran’s Fars News Agency reported. The Iranian political leader went on to call Netanyahu’s accusation hypocritical since it is Israel, he said, that kills Palestinians and Iranian nuclear scientists.
Marzieh Afkham, Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson, said the speech was a completely “deceitful show and a part of an electoral campaign made by radicals in Tel Aviv,” the state news agency IRNA said.
“There is no doubt that world public opinion gives no value or status to a child-killer regime,” Afkham said, referring to Netanyahu.
The “constant lying” by the Israeli leader about Iran’s goals and its peaceful nuclear program are “boring” and nothing new, she added.

This fool apparently does not realize that Israel does not need the support of Congress to remove all of Iran’s centrifuge (and other) facilities. Israel, if not led by some leftist coward (election coming), will defend itself — and that could happen at any time.
They aren’t targeting Zero or the regime. They know they don’t need to.
