You really want to call shipping in 16,000 troops and assassinating the S. Vietnamese president, sending in "advisors"?
Yesterday you claimed that Britain sending in advisers had started a war, and you refuse to respond to correction, why is that?
Advisers don't get us into war.
Poland just announced they are sending 75 “trainers” to Ukraine. Medical. Technical.
Not what I meant by advisors. It seems as if you start out with advisors and then more and more assets and troops are sent in. before ya know it, you’re sucked into a war. How will Britain respond if some of their advisors/trainers are killed?
Advisers are who you send when you don’t want to get involved in a war, the American Army was involved in Vietnam for about 20 years, before JFK got us into a war, by abandoning the use of only advisers.
We have advisers in well over a 100 nations, it is the specialty of the Army Special Forces, they are not a trip wire, and we don’t go to war when one is quietly killed on these adviser missions.
In Ukraine, since Russia supposedly isn’t there at all, and we are open friends with the nation of Ukraine and train with their military inside of Ukraine, what is the problem with having NATO people there anyway?
Who is telling us that we can no longer have our routine working relationships with Ukraine?

My opinion is that NATO/US are being slowly drawn into a war over there. We don’t know the inner workings of what is going on over there. Maybe my definition of advisors differs from yours. Putin has “advisors” to the rebels/militants/militia, whatever they are called. The gov’t of Ukraine does not seem stable, especially since the last head of state is in russia.

Putin’s definition is pretty elastic. Kind of like the chinese “volunteers” in the Korean War.
Being drawn into a war by who?
Russians going to war against our friends to increase their strength and ability to resume threatening us and the world again?
Since when did Putin get the right to order us and Ukraine’s neighbors out of Ukraine, and to forbid Ukraine it’s own associations and internal activities?
