WASHINGTON (AP) A U.S. military official said Tuesday the Pentagon will be deploying a small number of troops to Ukraine to provide combat medical training to forces there who have been battling Russian-backed separatists.

But he is only giving them bandaids.
It seems that the West is seeing Putin as an unstable threat, and are trying to offer some resistance to his long range military goals.
Let’s hope that we can stall Russia until we get a replacement in 23 months.
Cough, (insert expletive), cough....
In other news, Putin is still playing chess and Obama is still playing checkers. This remains impossibly to deny even if you do think Putin is just a truly monstrous dirtbag.
Tripwire....
CIA has been there for quite sometime already in a “advisery” operation.
“CIA has been there for quite sometime already in a advisery operation.”
Well, that would explain the incompetence.
Brits are sending help too.
Price of oil will drop;the velvet squeeze is being applied to Putin to turn him into an obedient globalist.
...”He has spent his entire reign getting rid of our best enlisted, and reducing our troop levels to almost nothing. And when that hasnt worked, he sends them into the most untenable harms way”...
......and he’s not finished yet either.
You don’t think that it might have something to do with invading a nation right on NATO’s border?
As opposed to an out-of-control globalist?
...”the velvet squeeze is being applied to Putin to turn him into an obedient globalist”...
Yep...unfortunately they think that’s possible...actions have consequences on this game-board Obama and Putin are playing in Ukraine...along with all the others fighting each other there....this outcome will not be good for Ukraine people by any means when all is said and done.
“We have a commander in chief who seems not only not ready, not unwilling, but really working collaboratively with what I would say is the enemy of freedom and of individual freedom and liberty and Western civilization and modernity. ....And in that context, how do you vote to give this commander-in-chief the authority and power to take action when .you know in your heart that, if past performance is any indicator of future performance, that he wont, ...and that he actually might use it to further their cause and what seems to be his cause and just drag you as a complicitor in it”..... Scott Perry (R-Pa.)
No, he’s in the White Hut.
They should have been doing this months ago.
Like everything else in Ukraine, the medical system was barely functional long before this ever began.
Healthcare is “Free” from the government, but doctors expect to be paid a fee by the patients. Medicine and training are questionable. Of course, if you have MONEY there are private hospitals and doctors.
Rebels who are severely wounded (and a large number of captured Kiev troops, as well), once stabilized, are transported to hospitals in Russia for care.
But Kiev’s soldiers, if the rumors are true, face a real nightmare. Little or no care, and dumped on families who have to pay for it. The propaganda says something very different, of course, but families aren’t taking their wounded to Poland and Hungary for care, for no reason.
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
Kennedy....advisors....Vietnam
And if this “small number” comes under fire, or is overrun, or killed, what then from this enemy islamist monster?
