Did you know that Dr. Ben Carson was on the “extremist” list of the Southern Poverty Law Center? This organization has compiled a list of extremists who might bring about anarchy onto the streets of America. Among those on the list are skinheads, Nazi sympathizers, and violent gangs. I suspect this organization is in cahoots with the current administration though because they fail to name Islamic extremists and their radical agenda to destroy our country.
Of all people, Dr. Ben Carson made the list! (However, the Southern Poverty Law Center has recently recanted after a massive outcry from the Christian community.) Nevertheless, he is still deemed a “radical” Christian by the current administration. It could be that he was put on the list for speaking against the healthcare fiasco at the National Prayer Breakfast (2013) at which the president was also present.
Who would have thought that such a highly esteemed Christian man, who is a “healer” rather than a destroyer of human life, could be accused of hate speech? He was just stating his opinion. But our self-absorbed president doesn’t want our opinion. In his eyes, no one on earth is as wise as he. He seems to think he’s a god. Also, in that same vein, there is an idea being tossed around in Washington of instituting the “Thought Police” where even thinking about standing up to the Federal government will be outlawed! This is outright subterfuge.
Right now it’s the Internet blogs and informative websites that are being targeted as well, especially those who speak out about the injustice of our political leaders. Christian websites will probably be next to be targeted. Amazingly, these outlets only crime is to convert sinners into saved sinners and make the world a better place to live. That would mean that the handful of “watchmen on the wall” would be silenced and/or prosecuted unjustly. But websites that promote killing and Jihadist activities aren’t even mentioned by the SPLC organization.
At the same time, the president wants unlimited military power to do as he sees fit without the consent of Congress. This will probably happen, but it is yet another ruse and can’t be good for the country. Those in power who are supposed to guard our Constitution are blind to what is going on, or at least pretending to be so.
They must love the power granted to them by the American voting public and the perks that go with it more than upholding the Constitutional Law. That is, except for one strong voice, namely Senator Ted Cruz whose father is a Baptist preacher. He is obviously a devout Christian who takes a firm stand for what he knows to be right.
There was a time when people would say, “I don’t talk politics or religion” with a self-righteous attitude, as though it were something to be proud of. Today, only a fool talks that way. Politics and religion have always played a role in human history and will until the end. Today most politicians use the convenient, “I misspoke” excuse for outright lying. It is getting harder and harder to believe anything politicians says. They go into office with little money in the bank and leave Washington with book deals worth millions, and even more in benefits that endure until death.
Speaking of shady political leaders, the new Prime Minister of Greece, Alexis Tsipras, just won the election there, and he came from out of nowhere. It seems many of these “end time” world leaders are materializing out of thin air, just like Obama did.
Another scary thing happened in Iran recently. Ahmadinejad reappeared on the world stage. Do you remember him? Who can forget his tirades against Israel and America just a few years ago? He’s coming back onto the world stage with a bounce in his step and a smile on his face. It kind of makes you wonder what he has up his sleeve.
Could it be that he knows something we don’t? Could it be that he has inside information that Iran has finally developed their beloved nuclear bomb and are ready to incinerate Israel? Maybe he just came from paying one of the many nuclear facilities a visit, and even gazed at the loathsome deadly device lovingly.
In Texas of all places, a group of influential Muslims have tried to institute Sharia Law in their part of the state. So far the city fathers have rejected their plans to do so, but Muslims will continue to try to impose their will on us until someone finally opens the door for them. We are witnessing a Caliphate trying to raise its ugly ideology in our country, and unless certain laws are passed we may see Sharia Law in our country in the near future.
Do you remember when some Muslims brazenly tried to build a Mosque on the site where the Twin Towers were destroyed? Eric Holder and the president were all for it. Thank God it never came to pass because of the public outcry.
Just the other day Obama flew off to play golf in sunny California. Once there, he was caught on camera laughing and smiling with his golf buddies, just like he did when the Jordanian pilot was burned to death in a cage, and while 21 Christians were lined-up in a kneeling position and beheaded by Isis on a beach in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, twenty some children also await their death in a bigger cage all bunched up together. They too have been threatened with immolation. But to what avail? The only answer can be that this is an illustration of Revelation 6, and Satan is out to wantonly kill and destroy human life before he vanishes from the scene. Indeed, the devil goes around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
The time for playing church is over, jockeying for position, jealousy and outright hate have no place in the house of God. We have other more important things to do, like loving and praying for one another, and even for other Christians around the world. The hour is late and we will all be held accountable in the hereafter for what we do or didn’t do here.
With all that’s taking place in the world today in religious and political circles, it might be a good idea to take stock of your relationship with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and His Messiah, Jesus Christ.
If this article frightens you, you need only repent, confess your sins to God Almighty, receive Christ’s forgiveness and learn of Him who died for you from the Bible. Jesus Christ will give you peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. He said, “Learn of me for I am meek and lowly and my burden is light and you will find rest for your soul.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center IS an extremist HATE group! And has been for decades.
Because Dr Carson did well in studies and did so out of the worst poverty and became great by working smart and hard. Of course liberals would consider him evil for being a roll model and a success.
I read in the Bible that we are to be saved from our sins, rather than in our sins. Other than that, I heartily agree with the author's comments.

Have donated to Cruz and am waiting for more developments before opening the coffers any more. Cruz and Walker are currently at the top of my list with Cruz being my real hope - let's see how things develop....
Sat on the news that Carson’s PAC has collected 12 million dollars and only 500K has gone to electing him. The news was about the PACS and how much money they get from donations and how much actually goes to elect the candidates either in primaries or elections.
So, what are you insinuating ..??
When you have to pay staff, and supply transportation, supplies, etc., the money can go out pretty fast.
Besides, it’s a long way to November 2016.
Without defending PACs, I’ll just point out that there are hard limits on how much money can go directly to candidates.
PACs are supposedly mainly to promote issues, and this can be problematic. A PAC can buy a lot of advertising unrelated to a candidate. Is such advertising actually aimed at persuading others about an issue, or is it aimed at raising more money for the PAC?
Are salaries paid to PAC administrators exorbitant? A lot of no-chance candidates run for office because they can pay themselves a salary from campaign funds.
Direct-to-candidate money doesn’t necessarily tell much of the story.
