Here you go skippy, chew on this and realize you’re not telling the truth, then go campaign for your (and my preferred) candidate: http://www.wausaudailyherald.com/story/opinion/2015/02/17/scott-walker-immigration-path-citizenship-wausau-interview-amnesty-border/23558209/

A deeper question is how much you will exaggerate and just plain lie about another candidate to try to get your preferred one the nomination.....

First, you must prove your assertion, which you cannot, because I have been careful to post only Walker's words in context.

Start giving us what Cruz has done about this, and his strategy to deal with it and maybe I'll start listening to your spamming. You make yourself look ridiculous coming on to every Walker thread and throwing out your spam. Tend to your own candidate, and stop being part of the circular firing squad. Secondly, what spamming?

I post in context concerning both Cruz and Walker. You may not like the frequency of the posts, but that is your problem.

Thirdly, What Cruz has proposed both positive in nature and negative in nature (and as far as I can see he has only two negatives in this column, Legal Immigration, and ONE statement, which I have as yet to see, concerning legalizing, but not giving citizenship to, those already here).

Finally, try dealing with your own exaggerations before you attempt to deal with the supposed exaggerations of others.

Okay, where are MY exaggerations? I posted you a link that shows your source is incorrect and you then accuse me of exaggerating....like I said, go deal with your (and my) preferred candidate, then stop spamming lies.

Heck, neither of these guys have committed to running, and you are acting like some paid campaign manager trying to take out someone you perceive as a threat.

Stop the circular firing squad, and please do it now. It will only get us someone like Jeb.

On this key issue we are trying to determine IF there is any difference between JEB and Walker.

That’s a pretty accurate assessment. Even Cruz gets mealy mouthed on the issue.

And how are you doing that? By reading an article by polutico?

Comparing Jeb to Walker is quite frankly insane.

Thanks for that article Lakeshark, not sure what you think that article proves, because it very clearly shows what I have been posting, Scott Walker supports both Amnesty for those here illegally, no differentiation between being legal and getting full citizenship, and he also approves of an Open Border in that article. No Border Enforcement:

"you hear some people talk about border security and a wall and all that. To me, I don't know that you need any of that if you had a better, saner way to let people into the country in the first place."

Get over it, Politico is trying to stir up divisiveness on the right. And the “all or nothing” crowd can take a flying leap.

True, the hit pieces are coming out on Walker, so he's making someone over there nervous. That being said, if he's squishy on amnesty, I can't vote for him. It remains to be seen.

From what I hear he's done good with the WI state deficit, and he's not afraid of the unions. Bottom line: IMHO it's still too early to tell.

Revision: Comparing them as if they have any similarity at all on almost any question is quite frankly insane.

SoConPubbie:" If Jeb fails, at least they have someone who will "toe-the-line" on Amnesty in Walker."

Somehow , I think the Nation and Immigration has changed over the last 8 years, and probably so has Walker's opinion on immigration.
If it hadn't changed over the last 8 years, I for one , wouldn't consider voting for him.
Jeb is a 'lukewarm Repubbie' , (A/K/A/ -> RINO /GOPe ).
He strattles the fence so much it has left marks and scars.
Ask Florida , they know him , and that's why that swing -state said "NO Thanks, no more"

Your reading comrehension is awful: WALKER: Actually, I'm glad you asked about that, because the Wausau newspaper erroneously quoted me on that. They listed a video on their website that actually showed that the person who asked the question said that, not me, and ever since then I've had to deal with reports over and over again.

BAIER: So that's wrong?

WALKER: That's wrong. It's not what I said. I have said I believe we need a legal immigration system. I have said repeatedly I oppose amnesty. I think we're a nation of immigrants, but we're also a nation of laws. We should have a legal way for people to come into this country either for work or for citizenship, just like we have for generations. Part of that deal is we need to make sure we have a border that's secure, not just for immigration reasons, but as I mentioned, for national security.

It’s an interesting piece. As hard as this-less-than-friendly news outlet tries to slam Walker (even at the end where they’re telling you how to interpret Walker’s words - make them up - to fit into their scenario) it just isn’t there. But there is the headline - which is what people absorb.

[AND THEN THERE IS THE SAD TRUTH THAT MOST PEOPLE WON’T TAKE THE TIME TO GO TO A LINK AND JUST READ IT. FOR SOME REASON THEY THINK SOMEONE ELSE’S INTERPRETATION IS JUST AS GOOD - BUT THEY WOULD BE MISTAKEN]

Enforce the laws and the illegals will go home on their own JUST LIKE THEY GOT HERE on their own.

When Romney said words to that effect I had some hope. He soon heard from the elites and quickly changed his tune. I knew then that the fix was in and it was 4 more years of the magic muslim.

If just one candidate would simply to say what you said, they'd have my vote. I'm tired of seeing the country turning into just another banana republic.

Given our propensity to keep handing the reins to the Left, I’m not surprised at all the attacks against Walker - reaching back 9 years and misquoting/or using others’ words/rumors is a sure sign that some of us here really have no interest in doing anything unless the whole shebang gets handed to us on a silver platter - then they will still whine and moan because reality bites and they can’t handle reality.

Soconpubbie knows I prefer Cruz to run for and win the nomination. I have reservations about Walker's immigration stands, but that's because NONE OF US KNOW THEM YET! HE'S FROM WISCONSIN AND OFF THE CUFF REMARKS TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT DON'T COUNT!

I find Walker a wonderful alternate candidate (as long as he doesn't prove himself to be an amnesty shill like Rubio) , the suggestion that he's the preferred candidate of the GOPE or that he is no different that Jeb is simply insane.

The circular firing squad needs to cool it, these are our two best candidates, I hope they end up on the same ticket.

Well, wait ten minutes and he may say something you like….

It's clear he's been all over the road on the issue.

"Walker’s stance on immigration reform evolved over the years.

He said as a gubernatorial candidate in2010 that he would sign an Arizona-style bill, which would allow local police to stop suspected illegal immigrants, if he were elected."

When something that is common sense is avoided be the candidates you know the fix is in.

And you cite Politico as your source?

How about National Review?

Or maybe Walker on video In His Own Words?

The Mofo site is pretty dumb bass but the video, mid-page, allows Gov. Walker to tell his own tale.

It seems many are so desperate for a “winner” they will ignore the clear signs that Walker is on the wrong side of this issue.

People will convince themselves of all kinds of things despite clear evidence to the contrary.

The Cheap Labor Express will have a GOP amnesty candidate, it is what they paid for.
The big question is how many people who normally vote GOP will have the courage to reject that candidate and vote their own interests.
The browbeating is still continuing from 2008 and 2012 and has started for 2016.
“if you don’t vote Bush/Walker/Rubio/whoever then you support Hillary”, it’s just a ridiculous argument and does not work, ask McCain and Romney.
