Hip-hop along with the great society.
“Geraldo nails it.”
Umm, he nailed it...once. But we are talking about one of the biggest scumbags on TV here.
I have to laugh when I see these concerts of DJs and people going crazy for some dweeb onstage pressing a button like he’s freaking Jimmy Page or something.
We agree with him completely. It doesn’t happen all that often.
I may be offended by this picture. I’m not sure. I need a frontal shot just to make sure.
Me too.
Yes, twice a century. LOL
They did the damage to themselves. They sold their souls to the Democrats for free stuff. Hip Hop doesn’t make them vote 98% + for the donks. Their current “culture” if you can call it that, is the effect of 3 generations of dependency, not the cause of the trouble.
Well, playing an instrument requires talent.
OTOH this stuff just requires an attitude.
The Over & Under for a junkie rock star is 27.
And there are some rock and country lyrics that would make a hip hop star blush.
Exactly : )
Rock and Roll was the gateway to open up the generation gap, which separated the cultural grounding all people used to have. That was when a significant section of youth began having a serious cultural divide with their parents.
This led to increased rebellion of the youth against their parents, because the rock and roll singers wanted them to follow them (the singers) and not their parents.
“Symptom, not a cause”
More of an integral part of a self-reinforcing feedback loop. Culture drives musical expression, which in turn drives culture. And on and on.
I can’t believe it! Geraldo actually said something that I agree with!
But EVERYONE thinks it is so cool to write songs about killin’ cops and fuggin’ they bitches
Way before rap, we had music like this:
La La Means I Love You—The Delfonics

Yes
Your attempt to blame white racists for black minstrels from aptly 1900s in inaccurate
I own a number of recordings from that era
Most are from black venues
Broonzy
Patton
Carr
From Rolling Fork to Moon Lake
Black juke joints
One of 3 roots of Rock and Roll
Nothing racist about that
Maybe you meant black face
Gangster Rap is the province of Suge Knight.. Dre ..Sean Combs...Russell Simmons etc
All proud Negroes
It glorifies all their crap, it’s hardly the fault of white racists
Two more points....you may or may not realize how paternally liberal it is to always lay the faults of blacks at white feet
Are they not capable of rising or falling of their own accord
And this freewheeling use of the term racist on a conservative site
I know it empowers you but it’s misused
Racist used mean white supremacist
Now it just means hammer to hit whites with
J
Jerry Rivers has done more damage to “News” Media perceived veracity than Brain Williams.
hip hop is racism
racism wearing a fauxart costume
