They don’t call this the Golden State for nothing. The contest to fill the seat soon to be vacated by Democrat Barbara Boxer could, according to political experts, be the most expensive Senate race in U.S. history, with a price tag of more than $120 million for both the primary and general elections. Although in California—where, these days, Republicans rarely win statewide office—whoever wins the Democratic primary is pretty much a lock to win the general.

Actually, as one who thinks that race or ethnicity is NEVER a prequalifier for office, I eagerly welcome a set-to between blacks and ‘latinos’ for this rabid liberal seat.
Since rationality, reason and foresight doesn’t exist in California anymore, I welcome the most angry, vehement and divisive internal liberal fight for that seat to ensue.

Probably half a million wealthy people have already left California. It will probably take 10 years for most the rest to leave. When they do, it’s BK city!

The sad part is white & black Liberals are so stupid they don’t realize they are going to be the biggest losers of the open border policy we’ve had and if amnesty ever comes to pass.
The truth is Mexicans are the biggest racist out there and they only vote for their own and there is no way they will ever let whites & blacks (Liberal or otherwise) rule them.
Look at cities like Los Angles, San Antonio and Miami, they will never have anything but a Hispanic Mayor. Soon these cities won’t even have a single white or Black on the city council or a white heading up any department or agency if they don’t already. There are will even be cities that don’t even want whites & blacks as low level government employees (It’s happening now, see Phoenix where they don’t even want white life guards at city pools)
If you’re a white or black no matter how good of a Liberal you are, because of your color you will be shut out and disenfranchised. The same will soon happen on state levels like in California and it will happen on the national level. Hillary gets the nod in 2016 because she is a woman and it is “her turn” but after her, no white or black male or female Liberal will ever have a shot at being president again.
For the Black Liberal, Mexicans don’t have the Guilt White Liberals have so they have no problem not sharing spoils with them.
Worse for the White Liberal is sure Mexicans love to vote for Progressive things as long as you keep the money flowing to them, but in reality they care little about the things white Liberals care about. They come from very Macho cultures and could give a flying fig about Feminism, Gay rights, Animal rights or the Environment.
If the Queers think old White Conservatives are evil for not letting them force their “Marriage” on everyone, just wait to see how they are treated when they are under a majority Mexican rule.
If Liberals think Conservatives want to let eeeeevvviiilll corporations pollute the environment, just wait until the millions of Mexicans coming set up squatters camps at beaches and National and State parks around the country and make their favorite hiking/biking trails no-go zones.
And ladies, I hope the free birth control Obama gives you is worth it, because all these immigrants aren’t going to be too keen on paying the Social Security for a bunch of old white childless spinsters so they can sit around and throw birthday parties for their pets.

The article is wrong in referring to the "Democratic primary"-- California no longer has party primaries (except for President). Under California's "jungle primary" system, all candidates-- D, R, independent-- run in one primary. The top two vote-getters are on the November ballot. So it is possible that we will get a choice of two Dems in the general election.

Los Angeles has had exactly one Hispanic Mayor since the 19th Century.
A number of California FReepers left in 2006 (before the RE meltdown). I’m one of them. Now in AZ.
